Stayed up late and made a reservation a month in advance for my hubby‘s birthday and it was well worth it. Wright’s has a romantic & moody vibe, perfect for a date night. We started off with the crab cake which was by far the most delectable bite we had. An absolute must have! For our entrees, we chose the potato-crusted halibut and 14oz New York strip. The halibut was delicate in flavor, but the lemon beurre blanc sauce packed richness. Unfortunately the NY strip was disappointing. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare, however the steak & crust itself was dry & tough. We would recommend future guests just stick with the seafood entree options, as they were absolutely delicious. The onions rings were good as is, but the tavern aioli made them great. The service we received was impeccable. Overall, we still had a 5 star experience at Wright’s and will be back!

The worst customer service imaginable. Kicked us out because we are young and wouldn’t let us order. But still made us wait 30 minutes for a table. This is atrocious customer service.

The food was excellent. Our bartender server was not. He had poor communication skills. We had to ask him for everything we ordered and we felt like we were bothering him when we did so. He wouldn’t make eye contact with us to get our orders. It was beyond frustrating and uncomfortable. Louie does service so much better.
We waited 30 min in the freezing cold to eat here because it’s impossible to make a reservation. I wouldn’t do it again to sit at the bar with that bartender/server.
The food is all extremely rich amd everything that came out was great! Very over priced as well.

The restaurant checks many boxes. Steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly. Cocktail was great and ambiance is inviting. Service was also top notch.
My one complaint is about their chairs. Originally I thought they were going for form over function. These chairs are simply horribly uncomfortable. I now believe this is purposeful. The restaurant has a very small seating area with very limited seating. I think they’ve made the chair choice to stop patrons from camping. While I’m sure it’s effective it does detract from the overall experience.

We were very excited to try this restaurant since it was very difficult to get a reservation. Unfortunately, we walked away very disappointed when the steak was so chewy that my girlfriend choked and almost threw up at our table and the medium well burger was hard as a rock on the outside that I did not want to finish the rest. The drinks were good but for $160 (gulp) before tip we feel as if the food quality could have been a lot better.

I have to say this restaurant is way overpriced and much too noisy for the prices they charge. $110 for a steak that wasn’t as tender as I expected. Side dish of spinach would feed a family of four. Side dish, really? Plus one has to stay up until minutes after midnight to get a reservation. Staff was a bit hyper. Over enthusiastic. For that money I want a quiet evening meal.

I got lucky and nabbed a last minute reservation for my birthday. This is truly my favorite restaurant! The food as always was exceptional. The only thing that was lacking was our waitress seemed a little put off being there. She was timely and attentive, but really not very friendly. This has not been the case on any other visit to your restaurant.

Drove an hour to try this place and met up with a friend in the city. We walk in sit down everything is fine. Then suddenly my friends 7lb service dog (dachsund) who was asleep in a shoulder bag was a huge problem. They were very rude/loud about it and surrounded our table. Very uncomfortable situation. Nowhere does it say no dogs. 0/10 experience.

Great meal for a small celebration.
Normally I would not get the pasta (we eat plenty of pasta at home) but the house made pasta and sauce were so delicious. My husband had the burger—also great. The dessert was the mountain of ice cream with various candies Quite a presentation.
If you can get a reservation at a reasonable time do it. It took us awhile to get a reservation between 6-7pm but worth the wait.

Absolutely stunning in every way. Service was elegant and thorough, but not suffocating. Food was truly spectacular. We had the halibut, aged NY strip special, mashed potatoes, onion rings, and of course an ice cream sundae. The space is gorgeous, every detail was purposeful. Thank you to Ricky for taking such wonderful care of us. This is a truly special place!

Always a great meal in one of the best atmospheres to dine in St Louis. Their Au Poivre sauce is incredible.

Had a phenomenal time coupled with fantastic service and delicious food. Chris, our server, was attentive, energetic and charismatic! Anytime I go back, I would be upset if he didn’t attend to us. We also admired the hats that the chefs wore and luckily we were able to purchase to purchase them! 5 stars all around
