I went to Wrights for my birthday and had a great time. The steak frites is great. The onion rings are a must order and so is the Tavern Sundae!

Everything about this place is fantastic! The French dip changed my life in the best way

Best filet I’ve had at a restaurant in years—perfectly cooked and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The au poivre sauce was rich and dreamy. Warm, crusty bread with their butter-olive oil combo started things off right. Shrimp scampi was spot-on. Fries with the steak were crisp and addictive, especially with the aioli and ketchup. Sat at the bar—service was good, just needed a touch more attention. Overall, killer meal. I’ll be back.

What a phenomenal experience. Well worth the wait after making the reservation. The Filet Mignon was tender and juicy, the Potato Crusted Halibut was moist on a bed of fresh green beans that still had a bit of a crunch so you knew they were fresh. We had the shrimp scampi (with toasted bread) once you finish the shrimp you can soak up all the juice. I love an Old Fashioned. The old fashioned was so good, I actually ordered a 2nd which is something I only do at the Vandy. Ask to be in Natalie's section. She was attentive, knowledgeable on all specials and ingredients and was a natural at conversation. This will definitely become a 2x year treat.

Exceptionally delicious. Portion sizes inhuman, resulting in waste.

Super hard to get a reservation. Quite good but value is questionable; considering the price and time spent to get a reservation.

Excellent experience from beginning to end. Thank you Wrights tavern!!

I have no idea why this place gets so many five-star reviews. Our experience was disappointing from start to finish. The food arrived cold, our steaks were cooked incorrectly, and the seating was uncomfortable - don’t even ask about the chairs. For a restaurant that charges $50+ per plate and markets itself as upscale dining, it completely missed the mark.

Service was slowish. Our waitress was polite but barely checked in. I ordered the tavern salad (essentially a Greek salad), but the ingredient proportions were way off. We both got the steak frites, which turned out to be mostly fries with a small steak topped with tavern butter. The steak was so cold the butter didn’t even melt—seriously. No inquiry from staff to see if we enjoyed our meal which is saying something.

She also suggested swapping one order of fries for onion rings—huge mistake. They were awful, think Buffalo Wild Wings but worse.

The best part of the meal? The drinks and the fries. That’s it. For the price, you’d be much better off at LongHorn or even Capital Grille. Definitely not worth the hype.

Service is top notch. You truly cannot get any better. Tonight, we took a chance as walk-ins and Alex delivered. She is my spirit animal. She had a vision. Told me it could be an hour but she was going to make the impossible, possible. Asked me to have faith. And 20 minutes later she texted me with a table and held it for us. And the cherry on top was CK as our server. They are truly a dynamic duo. You walk through the door and you feel like you are home with all of the staff. Honorable mention to Chris who is now required to do house calls for crumb service. 😊😊😊😊 excellent job all around Wrights Tavern!!!

Phenomenal experience at Wrights Tavern the staff is extraordinary at what they do and the food is amazing! I will be coming back for a double date soon!

Thank you for the amazing experience!

The star qualities here are truly the ambiance and the bread service. Whipped butter with olive oil, salt and pepper with crunchy toasted bread! I ascended.

Dim lighting, glowing bar, and paper you can draw on = upscale but welcoming.

Next favorite would be the house made pasta in a spicy vodka sauce! Wow!

The crab cake was outshined by the sauce it was served in. That sauce is so so good, but it drowns out the crab in the crab cake.

Finally the Caesar salad and the steak frites were both yummy, but nothing special.

I did have crazy heart burn the next day, but when you luxuriate in this many fats and acids, that’s the name of the game.

Overall, i’d highly recommend. It just feels like that perfect date night out.
