Service was a little slow due to many takeout orders arriving for pickup. The orders taken inside were completed afterward. The food was worth the wait. Large portions and plenty of flavor. The servers checked on us frequently and kept our glasses filled.
This place has been on our radar to try, and today was the day. We were able to sit where we wanted and were thrilled to find vacant tables in spite of the moderately full parking lot. We were greeted right away and offered menus and asked for our drink order. We both ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice (pictured right). My husband got a Dr. Pepper. Casual atmosphere, clean. Building looks like it was a drive-in once. If you are a rich snob, this might not be the place for you. I didn't really know what to expect, although a relative told me it had decent food. I thought the food was more than decent. The sevice was good, and pretty quick. I would definitely eat there more if I wadn't from way out of town.
