The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was seasoned really nicely and delicious. Got the special tacos that day, they were good as well. Service quick. Will come back for the chicken sandwich and fries and to try the shrimp tacos.

Nathan was an amazing server. My daughter ordered walking street tacos and didn’t care for them at all. Our server offered multiple times to remove them from the bill even though I insisted I pay and order something different for her. When we got the check it was for everything including the sub par tacos the server said would be taken off the bill. I never asked for anything free but the manager going against what the server told us would happen leaves a bad taste in my mouth for future visits.

The chicken tacos I had had were fantastic. I also had a unique cider beer that was one of the best I've ever tasted. Was sat near thr front. The service was good. Prices were around $15 a plate.

Canteen is a good place to go get a drink and have a snack, but the food lacks seasoning.
Had nachos, burger of the month, and two tacos. The nachos and tacos attempt to make up for being bland by adding more ingredients. Pickled onions that are texture only, same with cabbage, queso that is somehow sweet, and a red sauce that is definitely sweet. It's a different direction than I expected, and the sum of the parts fails to become a cohesive dish.
The burger of the month was a fried bologna sandwich. It was fine, but had the same issue of a weird sweetness on top of the flavor of the bologna. Other ingredients were present, but I couldn't tell you what they were.
It's disappointing to have a bland meal, but it looked like other diners were enjoying their tacos, fries, and guacamole. Canteen isn't for me, but maybe it's exactly what you're looking to have for dinner.
Vegetarian options: You can sub beans for some of the dishes, but no subs allowed for tacos.
Dietary restrictions: Can sub shredded lettuce for tortillas

I really liked the food, possibly the fish tacos the most, so far, though also loved the sweet potato and the shrimp. The salsa fresca is amazing!! Chips yum. I recommend ordering multiple taco pairs and sharing amid your party.

My friends and I have an addiction to this place! The nachos here are unbeatable and you can tell it’s all made fresh! They also have amazing tacos. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu here. They also have an extensive cocktail list with lots of unique drinks to choose from. Along with rotating tap list so you can always try something new!
