“My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch on a roadtrip on I70. We shared a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and fries. I must say that the sandwich was the best I’ve had including those enjoyed in Philadelphia! Everything was piping hot and fresh. The seasoning was perfect! I wish I had ordered one of my own! The servers were very nice and attentive. I read that it’s a family owned business for nearly 50 years! That says volumes!! I love supporting small businesses. Don’t miss out on enjoying a meal here! If we ever travel through again, we will be sure to stop!”

It was a food memory for me and my boyfriend—warm, comforting, and delicious. We ordered the sampler plate for 2 and got a little of everything. My boyfriend said the polish sausage was the best he’d ever eaten. All the stars and thumbs up for this little gem of a restaurant.”

Habitat was lucky enough to build 4 homes in 10 days with volunteers from all over the nation. Just Jeffs provided their famous burgers for 120 volunteers including the Columbia SWAT Team! Four families were able to become homeowners through this event and we would not have been able to make this happen without the generosity of folks like Jeff and his team!! Perfect for a night out with adult friends or an outing with rambunctious kids, Colleen, Nathan and the rest of the team go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. Ownership is always looking for new ways to attract new game lovers. I cannot say enough about how much fun we’ve had at The Hex since they opened last year. So glad to have them as a part of our Columbia community!”

“Such a fun treat! The space is super cute with lots of hand-painted artwork, and it was so hard to choose what I wanted—everything looked yummy. I ended up going with the Oreo and the cookies and cream mochi donuts, both of which were delicious, and the galbi boneless wings, which had so much tasty crunch and a garlicky, slightly sweet, very flavorful sauce. The staff were very friendly—I can’t wait to taste my way through the entire menu!”

“This place is AMAZING. I started eating poke when I lived chose to stl and have been craving a poke bowl ever since. A little more absolutely exceeds expectations. I got a spicy tuna poke bowl and it was so fresh and flavorful. They don’t skimp on the portions (including the avocado which I absolutely LOVE). My sister got a sushi burrito and was equally in love. The staff is incredibly kind and the restaurant is VERY clean. And I loved all the sticky notes on the wall. There were so many amazing drawings and uplifting notes. It’s such a simple thing that brightens up your day. From here on out, I’m foregoing chipotle as my comfort food and getting this bomb poke.”

“Great place for a German pub in Downtown Columbia, with the flags of the European countries Germany, the United Kingdom, and Belgium, as well as the United States. I came here with my family 2 1/2 weeks ago for my birthday lunch, because we were going to see my sister and brother-in-law and open Christmas presents at their place in Boonville.They don't have much food to offer. But their Bretzels were delectable, especially topped with a few different sweet and savory spreads! So were their Liège Waffles, my main course! As a special birthday bonus, our waitress offered me an extra Bretzel instead of an alcoholic drink. I do NOT drink alcohol, you see. So my extra Bretzel with some whipped cream made the perfect alternative.”

“This unassuming shop off of broadway is home to the best sandwiches in Columbia. Coming from New York I have craved a fresh deli style sandwich shop, something that Jersey Mike's can closely mimic, but other alternatives struggle to match. The bread is perfect, the meats taste delicious, and the toppings are not soggy. If you want a similar dining experience, you will have to go to upscale restaurants that charge an arm and a leg, but offer off-putting service. The ambiance is what you might expect of a small bar inside of an antiquated theater. This is truly a "must visit" if you're a local or passing through!”

“Was more expensive than I anticipated. But my daughter deserved a treat. They didn't have the cookies we wanted but we ordered a variety. Cornbread cookie was so good I wish i had ordered all 6 cornbread. So good. Tried in the car and melted in my mouth it was so good. I had not expected a cookie to be so good. Hope to afford on a different week soon for different variety offered.”

“I have visited twice for drive through and overall very good. My father was born in Venezuela and I love the food. First I got the Arepa. Very good but the cheese was cheddar and was not melted. This time I got the capacha and empanadas. The cheese empanada was again cheddar and the cachapa used a more traditional cheese, but it was not fully melted. It took about 10 minutes for the food, but I didn't mind waiting. Also, both times I got a solid avocado cream sauce and a hot sauce. The hot sauce was Frank's I believe which I love on wings but not with these flavor profiles. The beef was perfect and the pork was very flavorful but could be a bit more tender. Overall it just feels like some ingredients are cheaper or easier to find than traditional ingredients. If they would use a proper melted cheese on everything and just add some jalapeno to the avocado sauce, it would be 5 stars. A few tweaks and it would be rock star, but I will still be back.”

A perfect place to start your day or study in quiet and respectful atmosphere. Always staffed with knowledgeable and thoughtful people and the ownership is reflected by that. I bring their coffee and travel chemex anytime I leave Missouri lol. This place sets the tone of Columbia and sets the bar for the rest of the coffee snobs out there. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. ☕️”

“We were looking for a seafood restaurant after having a doctor appointment. Wow, did we get lucky, found it online. This place has delicious food, everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection, kudos to the cooks! The waitress was very friendly and helpful. I like the order at the front concept then have a seat and the waitress brings it when it’s ready. Food was scrumptious and fairly priced. We will definitely be coming back and spreading the word!”

On top of all of this, they are a non-profit and their mission is outstanding, helping so many individuals! I HIGHLY recommend Love Coffee for breakfast, for lunch, for a beverage, or to box lunch cater your next event or business lunch!!! “Years ago I fell in love with their mole’ poblano. The sauce was so dark and rich and thick but for the last 5 years or so it is not the same. Now it has some red mixed in and is more like enchilada sauce. I can get a jar of Dona Maria and make it better at home. Other aspects of this place are fine but just wish the mole’ was like it used to be.”

“Stayed with family for November and December 2022 in Columbia Missouri . Had never been to a First Watch restaurant . This breakfast and lunch restaurant became my new favorite restaurant. Everything I have ordered has been amazing from French toast ,waffles, omelettes , tacos ,sandwiches and salads . Very healthy and fresh food . Would eat at First Watch three times a week during my two month stay in Columbia Missouri. Always asked to seated in Melany's section . But all the wait staff was great !!! Took my 9 year old grandson for breakfast and he rated the restaurant a 10 . He had a waffle and sausage links and hot chocolate. I had the Italian sausage omelette with roasted potatoes. Food is always amazing . Great place to go by yourself with a friend or family . Highly recommended this place .”

“I have always loved Walk-On’s since they opened in Columbia. The atmosphere is amazing and the waitresses are always very nice and friendly. The food is so good each and every time. This past weekend, I got to meet two employees of Walk On’s, including the general manager at the COMO Man Show. They both were extremely nice and fun to chat with.
