“My wife and I had a late lunch there today and Riley who was taking care of the bar, also took care of our table. We had not eaten there since they moved to the new location. We started with the Calamari and we had just a few minutes to chat after we finished and our meals were brough to us. My wife had the Ravioli Aragosta and I had the spicy Chicken and Sausage. The meals looked great and tasted even better. The fresh bread that was brought to the table was perfect! Riley took care of all of our needs, and we never felt rushed. I definitely recommend this place and hope to return soon.”

I always want to be inclusive of food allergies, but most bakeries don't offer accommodations. Getting both egg AND gluten free in one cake was a big deal. A gluten-eater even had one and declared them so good, they were the cupcakes he *wished* he'd had at a recent celebration, instead of the ones served! And on top of being delicious, they were absolutely beautiful. I will definitely be recommending you to all my Mizzou colleagues for future events!”

I loved the decor it was very modern mixed with rustic elements. The food was so good and I could feel the difference in my body afterward.. not the crappy fast food feeling but energizing! The server I had was named Alyse and I want to give her a shoutout for an all-round amazing job! She was very sweet to my son and was attentive to our needs! Love this location and will come back!!”

We bought our food and breakfast strawberries. Then walked out. We realized that we had the football balloon in the parking lot and went back inside to return the balloon. The girl working at Hyvee paid for my daughter’s NFL balloon. As a gift, She was so kind and wonderful. My daughter bought the girl working a red flower and more strawberries for breakfast. Every employee was so kind. We always liked the Hyvee near Mizzou for the Market Grill Restaurant, beef brisket, and deli hot foods. Hyvee has the best team of employees. Award winning customer service. Hyvee is a boon to the community. We recommend that you shop at Hyvee whenever you have to make the best of your money, especially for their care for customers. “For my daughter's 25th Birthday luncheon we had 9 people. Didn't have a long wait to be seated. Was great service. We sat around a flat grill. We got appetizers made our orders. Got our drinks all very quickly. The Chef was amazing with his skills on the grill and tricks he did was so entertaining and mesmerizing. The food was good delicious. I had chicken teriyaki with fried rice. They served me so much food I had to take it home and make 2 more meals out of it.
Happy birthday to my daughter Chloe K. They made her a japanese candle that she had to blow out. Chef kept us laughing and was very engaging.

The vibe is energetic without being overwhelming, and there are TVs in every direction so you’ll never miss a play. The staff was attentive and friendly, and service was surprisingly quick even on a busy night.
The wings were crispy and flavorful, and the loaded nachos were a standout perfect for sharing. They’ve got a great selection of beers on tap, and the cocktails were strong (in a good way). Music was on point, adding to the overall lively atmosphere without drowning out conversation.”

“Years ago I fell in love with their mole’ poblano. The sauce was so dark and rich and thick but for the last 5 years or so it is not the same. Now it has some red mixed in and is more like enchilada sauce. I can get a jar of Dona Maria and make it better at home. Other aspects of this place are fine but just wish the mole’ was like it used to be.”

He was so knowledgeable about the food and how it was cooked, that I ,wondered if he had been standing elbow-to-elbow with the CHEF, who has my highest regards. Joe explained to us how all the seafood is FLOWN IN fresh. This speaks very highly both of Chris Mc D's and Joe, who knew and cared to share this information with us. A solid 5 stars for this restaurant!”

“Stayed with family for November and December 2022 in Columbia Missouri . Had never been to a First Watch restaurant . This breakfast and lunch restaurant became my new favorite restaurant. Everything I have ordered has been amazing from French toast ,waffles, omelettes , tacos ,sandwiches and salads . Very healthy and fresh food . Would eat at First Watch three times a week during my two month stay in Columbia Missouri. Always asked to seated in Melany's section . But all the wait staff was great !!! Took my 9 year old grandson for breakfast and he rated the restaurant a 10 . He had a waffle and sausage links and hot chocolate. I had the Italian sausage omelette with roasted potatoes. Food is always amazing . Great place to go by yourself with a friend or family . Highly recommended this place .”

“Had brunch with my son today and I typically don’t write reviews. However, my experience was fantastic. The server we had was sweet and efficient. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. I loved the decor it was very modern mixed with rustic elements. The food was so good and I could feel the difference in my body afterward.. not the crappy fast food feeling but energizing! The server I had was named Alyse and I want to give her a shoutout for an all-round amazing job! She was very sweet to my son and was attentive to our needs! Love this location and will come back!!”

“This was my husband and I's first time at the Flyover and we sat on the patio. Our service was some of the best I have ever experienced - our server was Ben. Food was beyond amazing. Getting to try new things and ingredients we typically would not get in our small home town. Highly recommend checking it out!”
