Panera Bread in Columbia

“Friendly, efficient, and professional staff. Quick moving line to place your order. Separate kiosk to place your order on your own if you'd prefer to do that. Plenty of pastries, souffles, and bagels in stock. Order ready at the pick-up counter in under 5 minutes on this visit (and usually is ready in under 10-15 minutes during peak times). Floor is clean & not sticky. Tables moderately clean, just a few crumbs from previous customers but easily taken care of with the quick wipe of a napkin. Plenty of seating available (booths, tables with chairs, and comfy chairs to chat/read in).“

“Panera is good but if you get a bagel, FYI they give you a very disappointing amount of cream cheese. This is probably my fault for not having got a bagel in a long time, but I was so excited for a big bagel with lots of cream cheese. Back in the day panera would schmear the cream cheese for you and it would just be as thick as you could possibly want. Today I got a tiny 1.5 Oz container. That is three tablespoons if you manage to scrape every bit out of the tiny container. I literally would have preferred two of those on each half, but i went through the drive through and by the time i got home it was too late. The bite size serving of cream cheese was spread so thin I had to supplement with butter just to cover the bagel with a millimeter thin layer. To spend 5 bucks on a bagel and cream cheese and get home and pull this out of the bag was incredibly disappointing, no respect for the schmear. Still giving decent stars because the food was good and now knowing this, I guess I will just shell out for 4 containers of cream cheese next time, but at that point I will probably just bring my own cream cheese....“
