Coming from New York I have craved a fresh deli style sandwich shop, something that Jersey Mike's can closely mimic, but other alternatives struggle to match. The bread is perfect, the meats taste delicious, and the toppings are not soggy. If you want a similar dining experience, you will have to go to upscale restaurants that charge an arm and a leg, but offer off-putting service. The ambiance is what you might expect of a small bar inside of an antiquated theater. This is truly a "must visit" if you're a local or passing through!“

I've been looking it seems like forever to find a fabulous custard in a pie.Guess what? I found my dream cherry custard pie. The custard is so creamy, and the sweetness is on point big time along with the perfect cherries. Again, the crust is so flaky and tasty kudos to a perfect crust it's so rare that it doesn't fall apart and holds up to where you can pick it up and eat with your fingers. I must admit that I demolished that pie in hours. Thank God it was only 6 inches.Now I've definitely found my favorite pies the white chocolate strawberry, cherry custard, and of course the pot pies. Big shout out to the Owner on a spectacular bakery filled with such delightful and delicious goodies.Next time, gonna have to try the quiche for sure!The drive from St. Louis is so worth it, and believe me, I'll be going a lot more. Luckily, when I went in to pick them up, they had the cherry cherry custard pie. Usually, they are special order. To my surprise, they had 3 of them, so of course, I picked up 2 of the 6 inch ones.Last time, I didn't try their savory pie, so this time, I picked up dinner for grabbing 2 of the pot roast pot pies. You heard me pot roast pot pies 6 inch. The reason I keep stating 6 inch is because they do have 9 inch pies, too. They would go bad before I could eat them, so I enjoy the 6-inch pies. Also, they have quiche as well. I'll let you know how the pot roast pot pie is when I eat it. Did I mention they ship as well. “I was very happy with my pickup order!

My wife wanted ramen from le Bao. But we live about 30 minutes from town. At other restaurants in Columbia, they would never package my food separately from sauce. And by the time I got home, our takeaway was always soggy. So ordering soup noodles seemed like a bad idea haha

But wife wanted ramen. So, I ordered and asked in the note section to please package noodles, broth and topping separately. So, I could heat it up when I got home.

I fully expected them to not do this. And I'm not the confrontational type, so I didn't even check the bag when I picked it up.

But I was so happy when I opened my order up and saw that they carefully portioned all the ingredients into their own containers! And even wrapped the broth into separate bags so nothing spilled/leaked.

It's small things like that make me return to a restaurant. Getting takeaway in the days post covid, when so many restaurant industry workers are burnt out on doordash and grubhub. They don't have the capacity to go that extra mile anymore.

But this place did and it meant a lot to me. So, I just wanted to share.“
