“It's probably the most famous alcohol slushy joint in Missouri. The staff is always friendly and engaging. Don't judge, but I wish they had opened a little earlier because a lot of things start at noon, and you gotta have yours Trops before you go, and who wants to be late??? They also have a decent rewards program.“

Even though the building is quite small it still felt private enough to us. We sat at the bar and could hear the music I chose (there's a jukebox) but still managed to be able to hear each other. We engaged in a little banter with a few others once or twice ... the atmosphere was pleasant. It was a beautiful day so we also spent some time on the little patio outside, its partially covered and has tables and chairs. I'm from out-of-town but felt at ease the moment I walked through the door. Ill definitely stop back in the Black and Gold Tavern the next time I'm in Columbia.“

Perfect for a night out with adult friends or an outing with rambunctious kids, Colleen, Nathan and the rest of the team go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. Ownership is always looking for new ways to attract new game lovers. I cannot say enough about how much fun we’ve had at The Hex since they opened last year. So glad to have them as a part of our Columbia community!“

“Not a great beer selection, but decent IPA at a low price. The place was really busy on a Saturday night, with lots of college kids watching the game on big screens. They have drinks promotions every day, and free WiFi. Comfortable outside and inside seating areas and friendly staff.“

“Love this place! They have COKE! You have to get the chips and salsa not sure what they put in there but it's addicting! The fried Mozzarella sticks are amazing! You can get them dipped in different sauces or naked. I love all the deals offered from the 3 for me or the lunch deal something for everyone! I always leave full and happy!
