Brunch is better here. The cocktails are on point. But the food is something that can't be passed on. From an out of towner that almost gave up because of limited parking, this a place that every town and city needs. Columbia has something special here.
We arrived on a busy Friday morning, and we were pleasantly surprised at the quick and friendly service. The vibes were perfect, and the food was outstanding. The Blue Pig grits were full of flavor and personality. I have been eager to try Cafe Berlin after seeing all the mouth-watering specials shown on their socials, and it truly delivered. This cafe is such a boon to vegans! They have a nice lunch menu for vegan diners, but the real treat is breakfast—such a joy to have multiple delicious vegan options on the menu! I had their Vegan Breakfast (with French toast) and it was truly wonderful—French toast is definitely a genre of food I miss as a vegan, and Cafe Berlin’s did not disappoint, it was delightful.
