“Yes, I recommend HA. Becuz we had a group of 10 folks, they enabled us to reserve a table. Good thing we did since it was packed when we arrived. Despite being their busiest night yet, the customer service was outstanding. They let us move to a quiet space and continued to serve/check on us all night. They had pre-selected 6 games for our group that were great choices. A fantastic night and we’ll be back!“
“We make a point to stop here every time we pass through on our way from St Louis to Omaha. Everything is fabulous with the entire menu being gluten free. So many dairy free options too and they serve reverse osmosis water! Class act with a serious commitment to quality. “Wow. What an unexpected gem! I loved the food so much, it may have been the best meal I have had in years. Awesome food combinations I would have never considered but pair so well together. I highly recommend the Goat sandwich and cold tortellini salad. I will be back for more as often as possible! I can not wait to explore more of this awesome food!!!!“

The Saturday brunch was a fun treat as this has been recently added to their menu.Check out the soups and homemade pies - they are made from scratch, as are the biscuits and gravy offerings.“
“I ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, with a salad and a roll. Everything tasted fresh, handmade, and well seasoned . It was my first time eating, and I will definitely be coming back. Reasonable prices that are not going to break the bank.“
“One of us had a Chef’s Salad that was ample. The other had a scrambled egg, bacon (crisp) and one pancake. Again, right sized portions. The interior is dated. The restaurant was formerly operated by a franchised Country Kitchen Brand and still reflects that 80’s interior. The Server was a very nice lady who made necessary adjustments to the order of eggs, bacon, and pancake. The windows needed a thorough cleaning or an occasional wipe-down as they were dirty, smudged and finger-printed.“

“First off, this is an amazing spot for brunch. Their biscuits & gravy is my fav! They specialize in helping people with allergies with being able to enjoy food again, which isn't a big deal to most, but for those affected, this is HUGE! If you are lucky and don't have this issue like myself, you'll still enjoy the food as Head Chef/Owner, Anna, has spent years perfecting her recipes to mirror the flavors of standard foods. Best of all, the prices aren't out of line with standard cafés, which makes the decision to support this local small business that much easier!“

“I absolutely love La Calle 8 and cannot say enough good things about them! The staff is so friendly and kind, the coffee (iced and hot) is SO good and the paninis are divine!The lattes are perfectly balanced. The coffee has a smooth taste and the milk and flavor is not overpowering, they know how to make it perfect! I got a Cuban panini this time and OH MY GOSH it transported me back to my favorite Cuban coffee shop in NC! It was amazing and I truly look forward to my next visit! Take it from me, do yourself a favor and JUST GO!“
