“AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Our server Tasha is always so amazing and so informative with their seasonal menus! We have had her as a waitress before and she has ALWAYS done an excellent job. when we come in we always hope to be in her section! I got a stain on my sleeve and she saw it and was so kind to bring a towel and a cup of club soda. always a good experience when she waits on us!“
“Let's start with service. From the greeting to the goodbye at the cash register, this place is country friendly and we loved it. Service was solid and watching these ladies apply their craft was like watching a choreographed dance. They must be long-term coworkers to be that fast while working in very close quarters. As a former server, I appreciated watching it. They worked as a team so everyone got their food fast and hot and the cups never went too low. Ambiance: this is a diner with worn finishes but not so worn it's an eyesore. It's comfortable and as the name says, it's cozy. It is the kind of place you would bring your family for breakfast after church. Food: the food was prepared as expected with the added bonus of the eggs being fried perfectly to order. I can't believe how many places have a problem with making over medium eggs. This place isn't one of those. The senior breakfast was a good solid meal that filled me up. My husband's omelette was too big for him to finish it and he left half on the plate, while quite satisfied with the portion he ate. The hash browns are tender on the inside, crunch on the outside, as it should be. They were a little too greasy for me, but the normal level for the region. The toast was well-buttered, a nice surprise coming from an area where there is a movement to only butter when requested. I always forget to ask for it. All in all, it's a solid homestyle meal, nothing fancy, but it's not meant to be. It's definitely worthy of a return. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4“
“Literally such a welcoming area. And and my friends come here as a safe place to talk tea and do school work. I would also like to shout out Preston for being a literal icon and always having a positive attitude and vibe. He’s always happy and so slay. Love “
“Me and my co-workers were in town for a convention. We were looking for Golden Corral and found out it was closed . We stumbled up on Bonnie’s. The food was AWESOME, service was SUPERB, and the vibe was very nice and friendly. Stacy waited on us with great service, then we met Angel and was from our home town . She made us feel great. The entire staff was just AWESOME ? I can’t wait to come back to visit again. Keep up the great work ❣️❣️❣️“
“Visited again on the 7th, did not disappoint. Went for breakfast they were very busy we were told 25 min. However a place opened at the bar so we got in quicker. Ordered Denver omelet with hashbrown. Got a cinnamon roll to go. Good thing we did because we could not have eaten it as there is always plenty of food. Got to the cinnamon roll on the 9th still so soft and so good. Would recommend 12 out of 10...I can not rave about this restaurant enough. My husband and I were looking for a late breakfast we saw an ad for the Rusty Rooster, went to find they were closing at 12:00 yep we arrived at 12:00. They happily sat us at a table knowing they were closing we offered to come another time. " I was a waitress I know how it is to seat a table at closing". The staff and Manager were all very pleasant and helpful with everything! The food.... oh my the food... so much food... and so delicious!! This is a must if you are anywhere near the strip. They do breakfast thru dinner I believe. I will be back on my next visit to the Lake Of The Ozarks.“
““Luck of the draw” when we chose this restaurant from the Google reviews. My burger was cooked perfectly - medium. The homemade onion rings were exceptional. My husband had the meatloaf special and it was a huge serving. Almost a pound, I would guess. Homemade mashed potatoes, nicely seasoned green beans. My 90 y/o husband ate the whole meal, leaving only a bit of green beans. The staff is so friendly and helpful. This was one of the best eating experiences we have had. And, don’t let me forget to mention the homemade strawberry rhubarb fried pie. Oh my goodness! The perfect ending to a most delicious meal!Thank you Gina, Joe, all the wait staff and Gina’s son, who turned the fan speed down so I didn’t freeze. We are coming back!!!“
