“Looking for some.good wings while traveling and decided to try CJs. Was not disappointed with the crispy, crunchy wings. Also ordered a side salad which was nothing more than lettuce, green pepper, and shredded cheese. Will pass on that next time and focus on the real hero of this local gem.“
“Great place for a German pub in Downtown Columbia, with the flags of the European countries Germany, the United Kingdom, and Belgium, as well as the United States. I came here with my family 2 1/2 weeks ago for my birthday lunch, because we were going to see my sister and brother-in-law and open Christmas presents at their place in Boonville. They don't have much food to offer. But their Bretzels were delectable, especially topped with a few different sweet and savory spreads! So were their Liège Waffles, my main course! As a special birthday bonus, our waitress offered me an extra Bretzel instead of an alcoholic drink. I do NOT drink alcohol, you see. So my extra Bretzel with some whipped cream made the perfect alternative.“
“So we ended up here when the restaurant we were going to go to was closed, and honestly was not disappointed. The server was incredibly friendly and helpful. The clam chowder was surprisingly amazing, and I know that sounds random, but it was really good. I got the fried snapper basket, and my other half got a pick 3 combo. Both of us were extremely happy with our dinner. Overall...probably be back.“
“Would give 6 stars if possible!! This was a whole new level of flavor and detail in food. All the BBQ meats were excellent, expertly marinated (but not wet) and with subtle but very present smokiness. The sauces were all amazing, especially the really spicy ones. Homemade tortillas, sweet broccoli salad with cotija, carefully handcrafted beverages, super friendly and knowledgeable staff... JUST WOW!!! And next-day leftovers were top-notch too! ?“
