I love this place. Reminds me of the one that used to be in JC that I went to as a child. Tradition is a great thing and this place is marinated in it!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes I would say you could get around in there with a wheelchair.
One of the parent in my son's hockey club suggested G&D Steakhouse which is along the way going to Kansas for the team's hockey tournament. We played early on a Sunday and so we had time to eat lunch on the way back. The place is just beside Texas Roadhouse, like you pass by TR first before going to G&D, and we love Texas Roadhouse, but still went on going here. And it didn't disappoint.. G&D is a solid diner. What I would say about them is that they exceed expectation for the price, making them an excellent value in my book. I do the fried mushroom appetizer, a salad, burger and fries. They have a mean Philly cheesesteak as well. You will probably also crave their chicken strips again if you try them. The staff is friendly. I plan on giving their steak another try. I had a bite of my wife's steak and it wasn't bad, but I didn't regret not ordering it either....read full review
