“A must try! Both wine and beer choices. The wine was outstanding. All of the ones I tried I liked which is not the norm. The Beers were also very good. They are out of any of the spirits at the moment. Parking was great. the facility was beautiful. The gift shop was to die for. Bathrooms are very clean and well-kept. However, if you need to get back on the freeway, going back where you came from and it’s to go over the bridge it’s not gonna work there’s a detour. Take a different route. Otherwise you’re gonna be driving way out of the way.”
“The view from the A-frame is fantastic! No wine flights are served here, unfortunately just at the tasting room. Very clean place and relaxed atmosphere to drink some wine and enjoy the views. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and also offered small tastings if you're trying to decide on a wine. The pretzel bites are average in our opinion, but feel free to give them a try and decide for yourself. It's a short hike up(0.3 mi) from the Katy Trail or you can drive around to the top. We'll definitely be back and probably bring some friends with us!”
“Lovely evening with delicious cocktails & beautiful live harp music playing in the background. The Gorgonzola crème brûlée and oysters Rockefeller were delectable and the lobster bisque delicious. However, the next two courses of our prix fixe were a disappointment. The mushroom ravioli was bland and flavorless. One could not denote any of flavor of mushroom and the pink sauce was lovely but imparted no flavor or cheese...maybe just cream. The chocolate cream puffs and coffee soaked angel food cake were palatable but could have been so much better. Our waitress, service and drinks were great and the ambience lovely but the food a disappointment.”

“I am fortunate to be able dine at Northwood Diner on numerous occasions, and every time the food has been fresh, hot and delicious. Whether it’s the mouthwatering Broasted Chicken, Pork Tenderloin, or Pulled Pork options, (or the Cheese Burger) you can not go wrong… just to mention that on Tuesdays there’s a Smoked Ribs special! Yummy! So if you are on I 70 get off at exit 106. The Diner is across the street from the Eagle / Cenex gas station on Hwy 87 south.”
“Now, do be impressed with the food/service offerings- they are terrific. The surrounds are muted to ensure that a good conversation can be had by all. The Saturday brunch was a fun treat as this has been recently added to their menu.Check out the soups and homemade pies - they are made from scratch, as are the biscuits and gravy offerings.”
“The remodel makes it a much nicer place to be, it is updated and looks so much better and having the bar in the restaurant area makes having a drink with dinner easier. The waitress I had Misty was well above a normal waitress.”
“Stopped by this cute cafe on the way to Columbia with my sisters. What a great find! Small, but their customer service and food were top notch. Definitely will be coming back again.”
