Had such an enjoyable experience here tonight at 44 Canteen. Our server was super attentive (we forgot her name but she had beautiful tattoos on her right arm) and made sure we liked our food. My friend and I are from out of town and it was our first time in Columbia. The burgers were phenomenal. I had the Korean Burger and it was tasty and fresh, highly recommended! The shrimp tacos are tender and made to order. Cannot wait to come back again.
Wow. Outstanding fresh, made to order, tacos. Very impressed with the quality of the food. They have various signature tacos. The chorizo tacos were delicious. The chips and salsa and queso was tasty! Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The back area had a nice bar that Rich explained had 12 beers on tap and a strong selection of bourbon and whiskeys. Our server was attentive and the food was good, but the open kitchen completely ruined the experience. One of the cooks was literally vaping while preparing food and I couldn’t help but notice that he didn’t wash his hands after handling his phone. The kitchen staff spoke loudly and kept making inappropriate comment which diminished what could have been an enjoyable meal.
