!!!THE BEST OF COLUMBIA MO !!!!
!!!!10/10!!!!!
No matter how long it's been since I've stepped through these doors, it always feels like home. It is truly a unique and perfect dining experience time and time again. From the counter to the wait staff and even the comfortability of the seats/tables. The food is always perfection as well. This trip I ordered a gyro and a salad bar trip. Most people wouldn't expect to be wowed with such a simple order (myself included), but they never cease to amaze me here. The onions are somehow perfection themselves, which in my experience is an impossibility to predict during the purchasing process. The jalapeños I had added were just the right amount of flavor. Again, an impossible task when I'm shopping for myself, but it's just the normal way of business here at Angelo's. The gyro itself is the absolute perfect portion, and I'm not a small guy. It filled me up without weighing me down. The salad bar options are simple and straightforward, which suits my tastes perfectly. There are few things more frustrating than too many choices when making a salad and finding that perfect balance between healthy options and being inundated with too many choices is an art form other restaurants could take a lesson from. If all that wasn't enough, the very best part is how quick they get the food out to you. The temperature upon arrival to the table couldn't have been better. Legitimately just a touch hotter than you want to bite into but a solid reassurance that it's freshly cooked while somehow being so mouth-wateringly presented that it makes a guy question if a little bit of heat on the ole tongue would be a bad thing. By the time you get the gyro sauce onto the meat, it's the absolute perfect consumption temperature.
In summation, if you're not eating here when you are in Columbia, you're missing out. 100% will return next time I'm in town!!!!
My grandpa is a regular at Angelo's, and it brings me so much comfort knowing he's treated with genuine kindness there.
The food is consistently good and the owner is always pleasant and there to chat with him
Our waitress had a great personality and was an absolute delight to be around.
Thank you to all the staff and everyone who makes this place feel like a home away from home for my grandpa. You guys are the absolute best 🫶
Gyros was ok but missing something
We went here on a Friday with a large party of 15. They were able to seat us quickly. We had everything from the pizza, pasta, Gyros, appetizers and salads. We did not have any complaints out of anybody. The service was really good and the food was great.
Family owned and operated. Wide variety of menu items. You leave with a full belly. Still has a salad bar!
We look forward to coming here after Church. Delicious!!!
I don’t think any of our food had any seasoning pretty flavorless
Pizza crust was different, not bad though. But who wants puddles of grease on their pizza? Very average. I wish it was better

If I could give zero stars about this restaurant I would the only reason I didn't is because there no option for that The pizzas weren't cooked well enough and looked raw. I tried calling to get another one remade, and the manager said he wouldn't do it. He was not very nice; they obviously don't care about their customers. I'm tired of not having good customer service these days🙄 Do not go here go somewhere else that appreciates your business. Update: the owner replied and Said I called in 2 days later to have my pizza remade that's not the point at least it wasn't a week later I travel a lot I paid $50 for these pizzas this place was about to close for the night the truth is you should not be giving out raw pizzas regardless of what time it was period

I love Angelo’s! The owner is really nice and the staff is friendly. My favorite thing on the menu is their Baklava and fries. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Waitress was slow. Once she dropped the food off, never saw her again. Our drinks needed refill but no staff to be found waiting tables. Son ordered a steak cooked medium which is supposed to be mostly pink in the middle. It came out well done but no waitress around to complain to. I ordered a jumbo cheeseburger but no cheese came with, and one tiny slimy tomato. Don't recommend this place.
