Food was thoughtful, fresh, and flavorful. We loved the outdoor seating, and laid back dog-friendly vibe. We ordered falafel wraps, a hummus bowl and zatar fries, and a couple of very groovy beers. And the dishes we ordered were vegan (woop woop!). We’ll be back!

Columbia is so lucky to have a place like Beet Box. The food is unique and high quality. You can tell that they really care about the food they're creating. The atmosphere is great and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Get the salmon kabab if it's on special, you won't regret it. But, then again, you probably won't regret anything you order here.

I ordered the chicken kabob and spinach pie for carry out lunch today. It was spectacular! So many different flavors and so much food! The chicken & prune stew has been my favorite until now. This one is a winner!

I had the falafel in a bowl and it was delicious. So many different textures with the pickled vegetables and the flavors are amazing. The falafel itself is the best I’ve ever had. I could eat this everyday!

So good - all of it. I start my day checking out their specials to motivate me to go into the office. Creative, fresh ingredients. Love all specials but also order the occasional lil' hummus or falafel side with orange chili hot sauce - which is enough for a whole meal. Try it all. Just eat it.

One of my favorite places in Columbia. We go here often! The menu changes daily so check them on Instagram to see what's going on! I dream about their soft shell crab sandwiches and their almond

The service was nice and quick and the staff were very smiling and helpful However unfortunately the food was not as good as I would have hoped for it to be because they take a middle eastern classic and change it completely in a western way the least they could have said is that it's a fusion falafel because this was nothing Like the actual Falafel That I eat in the Middle East Additionally the Falafel were all overcooked to the point of being burned on the outside which is the worst thing you can do for for falafel the hummus was the most Pleasant thing in the meal

Beet Box was slightly difficult to find. There is very limited seating inside, which could be a drawback to some. They get so busy that it can be difficult to hear when your name is called or they don't call your name at all. For a first time experience, we enjoyed the food! I would highly recommend the fries - crunchy and soft, fresh at the same time. The harissa mayo was our favorite with the fries. The fries are very salty and have lots of garlic, but the sauce adds a subtle spice and creaminess to balance it out. Pictured also is the Lamb Koobideh Wrap. Overall, it was decent. Unfortunately, the greens were not as fresh. The lamb was dry and did not have much flavor. VERY saucy, maybe a little too much mayo for some (like myself). The flatbread is SO GOOD. I wasn't aware of how much I liked pickled beets until I had it in this wrap!Despite a mediocre first time experience, we do plan to return and continue exploring what the "best" options are on the menu. Hopefully it will be a better experience in the future! Share your recommendations & tips!

First time visit today for lunch. I had the lunch special (seared scallops, vegetable forward frittata, pickled beets, relish, yellow rice with raisins, greek salad and hand made flatbread. This was a healthy, taste explosion festival! I can't say enough good things about the flavor and freshness of this lunch feast! I tried my guy's schuarma breakfast burrito -- also very delicious. He enjoys cooking (and eating good food) and said it was the best he's ever tasted. We tried some fries the chef passed to us to sample. I don't know what they do to them but they are the best fries I've ever had. We will be back. Thank you, Beet Box for being in Columbia, Mo!

I LOVE Beet Box! I am typically a picky eater. When I first heard of “Schwarma” and “Za’atar” I was honestly very nervous to try. Boy am I glad I did! The fries are amazing, the schwarma is delicious, and don’t even get me started on the assorted rotating from-scratch pastries made daily. I haven’t tried anything I didn’t love. I’m so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone! The atmosphere is trendy, clean, and slightly industrial. What’s not to love! I’ll definitely keep returning!

Good, but not great food, of which they seem inordinately proud. Almost no seating space. Terrible signage.
