This place easily has one of the best burgers anywhere. And more importantly it is consistent. Same food for over 20 years and NEVER been a let down. Loved this spot. Used to come all the time. Back visiting and just stopped in to grab a beer and a burger, and the bartender couldn’t have been more rude about us carrying near empty slushes. Even after telling him we were ordering beers and burgers he told us to go outside. Real deal prick about the whole thing. There’s other places to visit that won’t treat you so poorly; Booche’s burgers aren’t so great I’ll be back anymore after today.

The place is a historic (1800s) billiards and cold beer, with a very cool pool hall and the vibe is just Booche's, the 80s, 90s, 00, 10, and 20's the burgers ? are to die for yummy ?. Brothers went in 80 and my niece Graduated ? Dec 15, 2023. We celebrated as a family here! The staff was awesome. We are not hard to please. We were just sent away from this place because they said "You have to be 18 to play pool." I was with my well behaved nephews. There were 8 open tables at a time and obviously it's just pool and we didn't even have chance to act properly or not. Check out Flat Branch or Broadway Brewery for a good pub and go to Broadway Billiards to play pool. Just don't go to Booche's.

A Columbia iconic place....and has the little slider burgers. Now, this place is a pool hall...but tons of people go here for the burgers. Well, I see why and I'm sure a fan of those tasty little fresh beef burgers!

The burger was tiny, and the whole place very unsanitary. Took a couple bites and left the rest, I was so grossed out by the nose wiping and then directly touching the cheese, buns, straws where people put their lips. The bartender was telling everyone how he felt like crap, kept wiping his nose, and then grabbing everything with his snotty dirty hands.
