First time visiting when we came in on Friday July 18th 2025 at 8pm and it was empty. We had to ask and confirm they were open. The host was timid and lacking energy. Maybe it was a single off day for her. The food was pretty good. The tacos were delicious. They had ran out of Mexican street rice so we didn’t get to try it out. The tater tot casserole lacked flavor. The skirt steak on the tacos was spot on. The bar was closed so we didn’t get to try any drinks. No music playing, so the atmosphere was somber. Will have to try again when it’s busy to see how different the atmosphere changes.
We used Bud's catering services for a summer event we organized earlier this month. We love to celebrate events with local vendors, and Bud's is great to work with!
Had the Tiger King sandwich and tater tots casserole, both delicious. Service was great!
I am very appreciative to Bud’s BBQ. We had a catering order that was miscommunicated about. We ended up with far less food than needed to feed our staff. After calling, they immediately made more food for us to serve at our banquet. We will certainly use Bud’s again thanks to their quick fix!
Great food, counter service with a full bar, friendly staff
grace is the best server! absolute 10/10 service, give her a raise!
Great food
Food was pretty mediocre, lukewarm side, I've tried this place three times and they're always out of brisket or whatever is offered in a lot of the plates. For 40 bucks never doing that again :(

This place is a hidden gem! The service was outstanding, and the food was incredible. I walked in with no idea what to order, but the staff gave fantastic recommendations that truly elevated the experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful—perfect for a weekday visit. The restaurant was spotless with a welcoming, friendly staff that went out of their way to make sure our every inquiry was met.
Food Review: The smash burger was exactly what I’ve been searching for in Columbia. I tried the Fusion Smash Burger with chipotle sauce and added grilled onions as a substitute, and it was perfection. The charred flavor of the onions paired beautifully with the smoky chipotle seasoning, creating a delicious depth of flavor. The burger itself was incredibly juicy, and the fries were perfectly crisp. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better meal!

Came in after football game, tables open all over but no room at bar. We sat down to have drinks at a table and when tables filled in next hour we were asked to leave because we would not order food. We said we would move to bar when seats came open but they said no and asked us to leave. Highly recommend going somewhere where they respect their customers.

I was told to check this place out for the best bbq. We must have went on a bad Saturday because the food was not even fresh at all. After fighting off the flies from the food the entire time just to eat mediocre food we will probably just stick with smoke n fire. The staff was friendly at least.

Friendly staff and great food. If you order the nachos, just make sure you’re hungry. They don’t short the servings here.😀
