If 0 stars was an option, I would not have given a star. Prepare to be ready as soon as you walk in as they ambush you and expect you to know what you want off of the confusing menu. This menu is like a kid on craft day, construction paper, sharpie, and no description to know what the plate is. Expect to pay $20+ for nursing home food. The barbecue sauce is BLAND and there is no way you can have good American barbecue and good Mexican food. My ancestors would be disappointed in the Mexican rice I just ate. The plates on the table were not in our way but clearly they were in the way of our waitresses because she came to our table 5 times to try to take them away. The only reason we got so much attention is because the place was EMPTY. We should have known by the crickets we heard while trying to eat. No one wants to eat here. Buds IS BAD.

I had high hopes for this place unfortunately, it was a massive let down. The atmosphere is great in a prime location in downtown Columbia. The food on the other is sub par. Bland, poorly seasoned, zero depth of flavor and average sauce options. The pricing is insane! Especially considering the tiny food portions. Far better BBQ options Columbia. Too bad it’s making waste of prime real estate…

Easily the worst barbecue I've been to in the state and no I'm not over exaggerating. What's the first thing you look for when you go to a barbecue joint? Big portions right? Well you won't find those here. Instead you'll be fed like a prisoner of war while you await your never coming day of freedom. To add insult to injury and then prison cell you've been trapped in, expect to pay north of 20 dollars to eat here. Which sure, that's not outrageous for quality barbecue but you won't find that here.Avoid this joint and go to Big Daddy's or CoMo Smoke and Fire. Even Dickie's is better. We could use a great barbecue spot in downtown CoMo but this certainly isn't it.

I didn't have a chance to taste all the BBQ bc it was all sold out (the day after Film Fest). But the 10 PC Chicken Wings were great!

I got some okay food for a high price. Almost 30$ for an average amount of meat and 2 small sides. The tater tot casserole was good. The kale slaw was drowning caesar dressing.

We tried to get a menu out of them to order a pickup and the hoops we had to jump through turned us off and now we're not even going to try them. Such a hassle for such a basic thing. Too bad the food looks good.

Fantastic bbq restaurant in downtown Columbia! Has a plethora of menu items and great sides. I come here plenty of times and Jason the owner is a great guy along with all of his workers. I personally like the wings and smashburgers. Great environment and great place!

This is personally my favorite go-to COMO dining spot. They have some knockout bbq, as well as some fantastic signature cocktails! They have the most expansive bbq menu I have ever seen, with options for everyone! (vegan and gluten free) If you are visiting COMO you HAVE to make a stop at this beautiful establishment!

"Brisket is edible but nothing special, no smoke flavor, beans way too hot for me and okra good"This is a quotation from my sister after trying the brisket tonight. My wife and I also share this sentiment.Funny, because the website talks about cooking over a Live Fire, and how much The Fire is an integral part of seasoning the meats.I thought the SMOKE did that...Vegetarian options: Avoid this place; become a vegetarian.

Excellent stop for lunch. We had the cowboy burrito and Mexican rice. It's a big burrito! Everything was seasoned well, but the rice could use a little kick, in my opinion.Service was great and the restaurant itself was very comfortable.

Recently worked with Jason on a catered order for 60 people. His communication was great, and the food was so good! Many in the group had never had Bud's before, and now they are big fans! The Brisket and pork belly burnt ends are top notch. Highly recommend Bud's BBQ.
