This restaurant is amazing. The service was fantastic and the food was incredible. We had a party of 8 on a Saturday evening and not one person had a single complaint. We did make a reservation in advance because of the size of our group.

I’m over 70 and have traveled the world. The macadamia nut crusted sea bass I had on August 16th was the best dish I’ve ever had.
It was so delicious! I was very impressed with the chef. Service was great. I cannot wait to go back to Chris McD’s

Went with a group and I wasn’t served my second glass of wine before I got my entree, which took forever to come. And I had ordered it before the appetizer. I got it while I was being asked about dessert… I expect better timing and quality from a place such as Chris McD’s. I rather go to CC’s cause at least I’d be taken care of. But maybe now that the new owner and new general manager has switch things are different, talk I heard from where the servers stand, maybe things aren’t just handled correctly now, even if it’s been just a month or so when we came last. Within the issues I wanted some type of understanding of what was happening within this situation but I was told the manager “put herself on the floor tonight” and couldn’t accommodate us sooner. What a way to care. Which they clearly showed do not. I would not plan on coming back if I have to constantly beg for service. It was just supposed to be a nice dinner.

came on a Saturday night. It was somewhat busy, but not too busy. The first round of drinks took a while to come out. We ordered the second round of drinks once our food had came and once we had finished eating, they still hadn't come out. I went to the bathroom and my server stopped me and said a bartender had to cut their hand and had to go Home. Or during still shouldn't taken that long someone and management should've come over and taken over. It was two glasses of wine that could've been poured by the server and another martini that could take five seconds to make. Usually, they have a lot better service and this would not happen. I don't know what's going on tonight. They were not on their a game tonight. we then told her to take the drinks off our check because we didn't want them anymore. She then acted like it was her nice acting to take the drinks off our tab like sorry we didn't receive them in the 30 minutes after we ordered them overall if I would rate this experience a Zero out of 10 Chris McDs I've had a much better experience. The food was wonderful thanks but your drinks are usually amazing and I didn't get to experience that so that ruined the vibe.

For a special occasion there is nowhere else I would go, the food is fantastic, we have our favorites, and I can get a to-go order placed and picked up easy-peasy.

Stopped by to check out the newly renovated space and wow, what a transformation. It feels more polished, modern, and inviting while still keeping that signature charm I’ve always loved.

Of course, I couldn’t leave without ordering their bourbon espresso martini, which is hands down the best in town. Smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced just like the vibe here.

I had the tomahawk steak. It was a very good steak and presented well, but it wasn’t better than any other ribeye. The fried potatoes were good and spicy. I like spice. But some might not like it. The corn was on the cob covered in an odd but tasteful sauce.

I recommend NOT sitting in the last booth by the kitchen. The doors to the kitchen were very busy and would stick open. The kitchen was loud, and traffic was constant (see video). It spoiled my wife's experience. With our next reservation, we'll request a booth along the North wall.

Great local restaurant. Ribeye was arguably best I’ve ever had. Flavor was immaculate. Prefect crust and super tender and juicy inside. Quality pick. The poke was meh. Having lived in Hawaii 3 yrs I’m probably a harsh critic. But either some soy or spicy mayo needed to carry that app. The Crab dip was also a very very good pick. Def recommend that one. Service also was really good here. Our waitress was attentive and knew the menu very well.

Just ate at Chris Mc D’s in Columbia, MO 6/7/2025. While our server was very pleasant, I will not be returning to this restaurant. While we and other diners were still dining, we watched another one of the workers sweeping the floor then place the dirty dust pan used to collect the dirt from the floor onto the dining tables that guests eat on. What’s worse is the manager came over and made an excuse for it saying they do a deep clean every Saturday. I’m in utter shock.

We had the shrimp and crab dip to start, fussili and chicken, and the seafood pasta for dinners. Very tasty.

A good place to flex your bank account on a date but the food was disappointing for its price.
