If you like BBQ, this place is the absolute best in Columbia. From the amazing staff to the atmosphere to the absolutely amazing food, this place is second to none. I’d drive completely out of my way to eat here. If you’re within an hour, it’s definitely worth the drive. You will not be disappointed; this place is awesome. I can’t say enough good things about it.
Overall, I had a generally positive experience. The food was good, and I enjoyed it, however, it was a bit pricier than similar barbecue restaurants. I had a barbequed pork steak. The atmosphere was welcoming, but there seemed to be quite a bit of emphasis on the bar in the restaurant I do not drink so I don’t like that the bar takes up such a large space and seems to be a big emphasis in the restaurant. The service I received was excellent. My waiter brought my food in anytime....
I’d been craving hearty sandwiches lately and my husband suggested this place as I’m not normally a BBQ lover… we loved it so much that we’ve already been back three more times within a few weeks! The fries and the fried okra with the okra sauce are absolutely incredible.
