Ordered roast beef dinner. I've never had roast beef that tough.they needed to cook it for 4 or 5 more hours. I also ordered steamed broccoli which was hardly cooked.

Ordered chicken and dumplings and the catfish.The chicken & dumplings looked as tho they had set under a heat lamp for a long time or were leftovers, sent back.The 2 catfish filets had one overcooked and dry and the other slightly better. Also had a side that looked like leftovers from the previous day, sent back, but the second attempt at the side was no better.Sad for a cracker barrel. Completely disappointed.

They weren't busy at all so we were seated right away. Our waitress (Rose) was right there getting order (she was awesome). The food good. One thing I can count on at Cracker Barrel is my eggs being cooked perfectly. I can see that shrinkflation is here as grits are a side now instead of just being brought out with breakfast.

This was high school, 20-ish years ago, but I would hope that today, it's the same. Pay a small price to have a few biscuits (or cornbread muffins), and look around. Not a bad deal.
