The donuts were fresh and delicious!
I loved the Apple Fritters, they were large and were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle and were giant - great value. The classic glazed were very good as well, tastier than regular grocery bought. The kolaches I was very surprised and pleased to see, I tend to see these in the south a lot. Theirs were great, the cheese filled sausage ones were delicious, not soggy and the dough was airy.
I can't wait to try more of their donuts and kolaches in the near future! The owner was very friendly and offered great service as well. I would strongly recommend!

I am disappointed each time we go here. The employee seems so unhappy and unwilling to sell product. We ended up going to a second donut place in town, Ellianna's, and it's now our new favorite. It's unfortunate for donut d light because I was able to compare the donuts side by side. Everyone at the party chose Ellianna's. Wish donut d light at least had decent customer service. Instead we were met with the feeling of dread, bad donuts, and higher prices.

Donut D-Light is a fan's experience period! I see some other reviews on here taking points off for atmosphere, language barriers and someone clearly having a bad day. IF these things are true, they are outliers. This spot is EVERYTHING you could want in a donut shop. You can smell the freshly made donuts from outside. You see flour on the aprons of workers who made them overnight. Everyone is as friendly as can be expected and almost always there is a thank you with a huge friendly grin. The shop is quiet and bare bones.....just as a hometown donut shop should be! There should be little to no ambiance in a shop who's workers have already worked 5 hours by the time you arrive.
Now....the product.....
The donuts are, hands down, the absolute best in the area. The fluff or creme filled long Johns are absolutely fantastic! The donut holes are soft and perfectly glazed. The apple fritter is HUGE and filled with cinnamon apple chunks. My girls love Boba and are always excited to see what interesting colors the donuts will be painted with on each visit. If you want something a bit more savory, they have ham and cheese croissants or kolaches (other flavors available). I have yet to try a product that I didn't like. I need to go back as soon as they open, to be honest. They have several fillings for the donuts and I want to try all of them. The prices are so reasonable, I may try all of them today!
Vegetarian options: Donuts.....fairly self explanatory.
Kid-friendliness: Always children with parents here.

I would recommend this place. Kind owner however there is a bit of a language difference with many of the workers speaking little English and with heavy accents. The food is amazing. The donuts I would say are best in Columbia. Boba is great too. Not much of an atmosphere but it is not bad.
Dietary restrictions: Many Dairy free options
Parking: A nice parking lot shared with other businesses but is pretty empty most of the time
Kid-friendliness: I see kids every time I go with their parents having fun and eating good food.

Simple little whole in the wall with fantastic sweets. Donuts taste like old fashioned ones which is great. Love the option to get it filled with whatever I choose. We stop every time we go to the city.
