This is my personal favorite Chinese food joint around these parts. I've tried all the others in and around como, and these guys are cheaper, and taste consistently better, plus have more options. Just a solid choice ??

Had chicken lo mein and chicken fried rice and threw them both away after the 2nd bite. The fried rice was bland and the lo mein tasted like a barn stall smells...best way I can describe it. The egg roll was good. My husband liked the flavor of the General Tso Chicken but not the texture. The white rice is good and the sweet and sour chicken (without the sauce) was good. The sweet and sour sauce tasted okay.

When you drive to the restaurant, its sign is “China Star"- not "Formosa" and definitely not Taiwanese restaurant.

First thing you will notice is when you get to the restaurant they still have the China Star sign from when China Star was there, but advertise as Formosa. My guess is they didn't want to pay to take the old sign down and replace it with a Formosa one, understandable but confusing. We ordered on Christmas so they were very busy. Food was good. We got everything we ordered correctly.I would have rated them about a 4 star, but a couple days later I noticed they overcharged me $20. I tipped $3 as I just ordered carry out, but I definitely did not tip $20. This is extremely shady. I would recommend paying with cash so they can't overcharge your card.Parking: Plenty of parking as they are in a plaza that is rarely busy.

Formosa has reinvented themselves! The food is always good and arrives to us hot and fresh. For the folks complaining about the cashew chicken - order stir fried - Sounds like you're getting "Springfield style" which IS indeed nasty no matter where you get it from

Absolutely LOVE their food......but NOW I have to order through DoorDash when I live literally ONE exit away from them?? I've had issues with DoorDash in the past and this has NEVER happened when I've ordered from this restaurant and I am disappointed. I'll still order from them, but this is why I'm only giving them 3 stars because this is ridiculous.??‍♀️

Right from the start there was some confusion finding them because their address led to a strip mall with a place called "China Star" on the front. After a quick phone call from the parking lot they cleared it up explaining they were both. The interior was clean and tidy, staff wore masks and some latex gloves also. There are a couple of booths and chairs at a bar for dining in, however none were taken during my visit. There was a lot of take out and delivery traffic, which clearly is their primary business. The menu was expansive with plenty of "American style" dishes next to obviously authentic Chinese fare. You'll definitely find things you're used to seeing next to other things to experiment. Even though they were busy, my order only took 15 minutes. You have the option of also ordering online and paying in advance for either pick up or store based home delivery via their website.Parking out front was ample, with handicapped spots near the door with curb ramps.I admit I was hoping to find a dining experience but the quality of the food i brought home was superb and delicious. It was packed nicely and everything was still hot. Highly recommend ?

I have been in Columbia since 1994. They have been alright, however, the last two times have been disgusting and wrong. The first time it was bad our items tasted fishy and we ordered no fish items. And this time I am most pissed about...both main dishes were wrong. This is NOT Schezuan beef or Springfield Style Cashew Chicken (I grew up minutes from. Springfield so I know). I literally want all of my money back.

Ordered for the first time today. Food was hot and delicious. Crab rangoons were so good, I had to hide mine from my husband! We will definitely be ordering again.

Chinese food and the feeling at this location is great. Definitely worth going back to. Prices are appropriate for the quality.
