Closed for good except ex employees literally keep saying it will open "soon" and that was almost a year ago. I don't know why they keep lying but they do not intend to open up the Columbia location ever again.

The FDA should ban all fish sold at Golden Corel...I only eat fish and salad when I go and every time I eat the fish I noticed that I get crumps in my leg,feet, or some parts of my body...I know realize that something is wrong with the fish u are feeding people ...people beware that something is wrong with the fish here at Golden coral...I will not be eating there ever again...done...

Varierty- hard to beat. Price: Cannot be beat. Our weekly Group loves this place. (* Too bad the kitchen fire has shut dwn the restaurant.... 2/23 until further notice).

Although I enjoyed most of what I ate, the experience was less than expected. We usually love Golden Corral and since there are none within 100 miles of our house, we visit them when we travel. Tried G.C. in Columbia, MO on 1/30/2022.Many favorite regular items were missing or altered. The pot roast became pork roast. There were multiple pans duplicating some items. There were sirloin steaks on the grill, but the cooks were obviously slow-walking serving them up.I stood there for nearly 10 minutes with a dozen steaks ready in front of me before the grill cook cut one and served a few pieces to me and another 3 or 4 patrons before walking away and leaving the others who were waiting standing there.The meat was far too well done although I was told it was medium. All of the other steaks on the grill were probably seriously overcooked past well done by the time they were portioned out in stingy pieces. I say: "If you're going to serve steak, serve it. And serve it as requested."I believe the fire in the building a day later was divine retribution. I'm enjoying a bit of schadenfroid at the restaurant's expense.

Food is consistently good. Price increase understandable, so go before 4. Staff very nice. Always good wait staff, helpful and accommodating.
