Mashed potatoes bland and the Cajun shrimp and andouille sausage was way over cooked and rubbery, and tasted as if the seasonings were accidentally over dumped into it. Will NOT eat here again. Subway would have tasted more enjoyable.

Pleasantly Suprised! We were visiting Columbia and ended up at Grand Cru when our other dinner reservations fell through. The food was well prepared, staff knowledgeable, and made wonderful recommendations. Will definitely dine here again.

Called Friday the 3rd and made reservations for my birthday dinner for Saturday the 4th. The day of my actual birthday. Arrived to the restaurant with my whole family and the doors were locked and the place was closed. They could have called and told us our reservations were cancelled. Very inconsiderate. Happy 30th birthday to me!

Friendly staff, cozy environment, great seasonal beer selection on tap, amazing food! Best steak we have had in years. We loved the seared sea scallops with butternut squash risotta, the 12oz KC strip steak with garlic mashed potatoes, and the Cru house salad. Every single thing we ate was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Our first time here will not be our last.

We liked the dinning room. That's where our like stopped. My steak was undercooked, lots of gristle and not very good. We had thought about going to Texas Roadhouse but decided to try Grand Cru. I wish we had gone to Texas Roadhouse. The steaks there are much better and the servers are always happy. Our waiter had a pissy attitude that made it feel like we were bothering him by eating here. This was our first time eating here. There will not be a second visit. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else.

My wife wanted a birthday dinner on a Friday night for the family. We drove by places at 445 p.m. and they were packed. I told the family we should try Grand Cru. I had dinner there years ago for work and it was great. Went in and were seated right away. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food ordered was a ribeye, salmon and a cheeseburger. The food was excellent. The drinks were great. Old school feel and not congested or loud like other places where you can't have a conversation. We will definitely go back! Thank you.

Service was ok. Not as informed as should be. The scallops were all in all just ok. Mango salsa was interesting. Pancetta fat really prominent... with a syrupy consistency. Fascinating. Now the travesty of the duck breast. Preparing duck is an art. I think my 9yr old nephew could have executed as well. This was over cooked. Smelled off. Haricot verts were nice. :)
