Smells really strongly of cigar smoke, so unless that's your thing--save your $ and go elsewhere. We were there for a really long time waiting on our food and there were two other tables that had people waiting-- it just wasn't that busy to justify the amount of time it took to complete our meal.
It had been a long time since I last dined in here. A couple weeks ago I was here for a social event, which was hosted in one of the private rooms. I ordered salmon and it was fairly decent; just wish the salmon wasn't coated with bread crumbs. My friend ordered the chicken dish and it was huge when it came in. Food is kind of hit and miss, but the atmosphere and service makes it a good option for a quiet date night.We had the duck, fried crawfish bites and a buffalo chicken sandwich. Duck in the sauce was good. Crawfish bites are in cornmeal, which I don’t personally like, but were executed well. Buffalo chicken was pretty bad. You could tell by the hard and mushy parts of the batter that it was cooked unevenly, and the breading came off in one slimy sheet. Something didn’t agree...
