Always love Gunter Hans. Reservations got mixed up for our large group of 20, but the staff was very accommodating, giving us free mimosas & very attentive. Great atmosphere & thankfully a beautiful day for the patio.
The food is great, don't get me wrong. But, you know that saying, "Hell is other people's music." It certainly applies here with the club music playing even before noon and then louder if you visit in the evening. That, the slow service, and the plastic cutlery that breaks as you try to cut through the calzone make this joint that I really wanna like just a disappointing 3 stars.
Great place for a German pub in Downtown Columbia, with the flags of the European countries Germany, the United Kingdom, and Belgium, as well as the United States. I came here with my family 2 1/2 weeks ago for my birthday lunch, because we were going to see my sister and brother-in-law and open Christmas presents at their place in Boonville.They don't have much food to offer. But their Bretzels were delectable, especially topped with a few different sweet and savory spreads!...
