My visits to taste place have always been marvelously pleasant. The restaurant is located near the middle of the plaza making it very easy to get too. Taste place offers a wide selection of tantalizing dishes ranging from succulent meats to refreshing vegetables, and that's without even mentioning the hotpots they offer. The ratio between portion sizes and prices are quite affordable. This establishment is perfect for a date, and the lovely staff help make it feel very welcoming....

I LOVE the Szechuan dry pot!! I add fresh tofu. I live outside of Columbia and if I come to the city, I always want to eat here so I can have this dish. The tingly sensation from the Szechuan pepper is perfect, and the texture of the things inside (wood ear mushroom, cabbage, bean curd skin, and rice noodles) are wonderfully diverse. Also, the portion size of this particular dish is quite large. I can save it for several meals afterward!

Came here for the first time with my friends and it was delicious! I love the wide variety of options on the menu! We had a really long wait time before getting our food but the place is definitely worth a try!
