I'm typically not a negative reviewer but I feel compelled. I grew up coming here often and it being my favorite Chinese restaurant in Como - no longer the case. Food is completely changed and not nearly the quality it used to be. Ordered crab rangoon, wontons, sweet and sour chicken, and pork belly with smoked tofu. All of it pretty subpar (crab rangoon was ok). I also ordered char siu pork customized, but they didn't alter it all. I called and asked if they could fix it, the person on the phone said yes bring it back no problem, but when I got there a different person pushed back and said the chef doesnt customize it and this is due to online ordering discrepancies. I appreciate them at least giving me a refund for that dish, hence the two stars. Not sure what's happened, but sad to say after coming here for 20+ years, this is a wrap.

Best Chinese food in town you can’t beat the atmosphere and quite honestly the best eggrolls I’ve ever had anywhere around the world! If you go on Friday or Saturday and you were lucky enough to hear Nan at the piano, just sit and enjoy one of Columbias best! She is so talented and has been there at HOC forever. She will take request and she always plays my favorite song for me. Nothing will be a lovely meal with great service listening to Nan on the piano.!

Bad experience!
We love eating here! They have wonderful servers, a clean and tidy environment and their food is always fresh and delicious. The prices are superb for such a nice place and it's perfect for date night with my Fiancé. Please tip when you eat here to show your appreciation, they really deserve it. Thank you, House of Chow on Broadway, employees!

I always loved coming here with friends—the food was just so good. My go-to dishes were the Sesame Chicken and Ma Po Tofu with Pork. Totally hit the spot every time. I kept wanting to come back for more.

Very nice Chinese restaurant! Excellent selection and well prepared. Wait staff don't really know yet what they are serving, but they're learning.

This WAS my favorite place. This time we had one dish, beef and broccoli, came out cold. I ordered sweet sour chicken and it was like warm. In the past our food was always served hot. Is this due to new ownership?

Restaurantji Recommends
Locally owned and operated. Sometimes, there's live piano. Has a classic/nostalgic feel to it. The food is good. Service is hit or miss. They do take reservations.
Delicious food in a relaxing environment
Just drove 45 minutes to find that the you are closed although Google says you are open.
Won't ever make that mistake again. UPDATE YOUR GOOGLE BUSINESS PAGE!
This is the best restaurant in Columbia!! We've been going here for years and even as a child I remember coming here(the decor has been updated to be more modern)
I always get the General Tso's chicken and my wife gets the sesame fried Tofu. Our gets get the sweet and sour chicken.
All the food is great everytime and the service is always amazing. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the best Chinese restaurant in the area.
The mobile app says they're open but they're not on Sunday so they need to change that cuz it's annoying to drive all the way out there only to find out that they're closed
