I just placed an order with them tonight for 9 cookies and was so unsatisfied with this place. I ordered them online and as I watched the tracker from home it showed that my cookie sat for like 40 to 45 minutes waiting on a driver. Then when my cookies got to me they were cold and hard. Considering I spent the amount I did I am so unsatisfied and will probably never use this company again.

Don’t get me wrong the food was great, however the customer service was atrocious. There was one lady working and my husband and I waited at the counter for roughly 5-10 minutes while she was laughing and smiling at her phone. She looked up and I smiled at her and she didn’t react. Then she takes cookies out of the oven and goes to the computer for another minute. When she finally came over to us there was no communication. I placed my order and she didn’t respond at all. She just looked at me. I thought she might be deaf or hard of hearing so I let it go. My husband asked her if he could have a cookie sandwich but have the cookies separate and she just shrugged. Then a male walked in and she politely asked him if he was a driver. He was and they had a short conversation about the pickup order. She never spoke to us. Our total was never told to us, she never told us when to pay. Extremely disrespectful and disappointing.

This experience was honestly embarrassing. The employee helping me (wearing a black Nike hoodie and glasses) had a really short attitude and made me feel unwelcome from the start.

I asked her to repeat herself once because I’m hard of hearing, and instead of being understanding, she acted irritated.

She then tossed my food into the box carelessly, which just made the whole situation worse. I shouldn’t feel embarrassed or uncomfortable just for ordering food.

This feels like a management and training issue. Unless it’s addressed, I won’t be coming back. Customer service matters, and this was disappointing.

I’m gonna be totally honest, I don’t think I’ve ever had such a terrible experience before. I came in today, Friday the 23rd of January.

I cannot stress enough that I work very hard to show the most respect I can to anybody working in service jobs, they deal with jerks all the time.

My friends and I walk in, and say hello and ask how the associate was doing. No response, just a blank stare. We move on, and tell her what we want. She does not say a single word throughout the entire interaction. Just a frown.

I ask her after the order was complete if it’s possible for me to get a paper reciept. No response. She begins grabbing one cookie out of the three we ordered, puts it in a box, hands it to me, and ignored my question about the receipt and helps a doordasher. Again without using words with him either.

While she’s grabbing his cookie, my receipt prints out and I ask if I can grab it since she’s busy. No response. I grab the reciept. She then throws down her ice cream scoop, looks at me with a frustrated face, and throws her hands up like I did something wrong to her. Then she just picks the scoop back up, and finished his order.

She walks to the back, and sits on her phone ignoring me after he leaves. My friends and I were nervous at this point to ask her to finish grabbing our other two cookies, because her attitude was incredibly intense.

I decide to ask her again, politely, if I can please get the other two cookies I ordered. She does not respond to me. Gets the two cookies. And tosses the box across the counter and whips around and sits back down on her phone.

I have literally never had such a bizarre and awful experience.

The lady on the phone was super rude and was acting like it's a burden on her to do the job she's literally paid to do. Also their cookies suck

The person working was super rude, got the order wrong, didn’t fill the container. We asked for a cookie, not ice cream, but we got ice cream and when we asked for the cookie the worker didn’t put gloves on, grabbed a cold cookie and threw it on the table and when we asked if we had to pay they said “It’s too late now.”

My dad and I came in around 5:30 pm today for our first-ever visit to Insomnia Cookies. When we walked in, the employee (Gabriel J) was on their phone. They stood up, walked out the front door, and then came back in without saying anything to us.

When they returned to the counter, I ordered the brownie with two scoops. I was told there were no brownies available, which I understood, so I switched to a cookie with two scoops. I asked if the scoops could be different flavors or if they had to be the same. I didn’t receive an answer, so I asked again and only got a “yeah,” which required me to clarify what they meant.

While entering the order, the employee was shaking their head and not communicating at all. When my dad went to order, he asked the same question I had asked earlier, and I answered for him since we never received a clear response initially. While getting the ice cream, the employee was slamming the freezer doors. I’m not sure if they’re difficult to open, but it added to the uncomfortable experience.

There was very little communication throughout the entire interaction—no greeting, no smiles, and no verbal responses beyond minimal answers. I work in customer service myself and understand having a bad day, but basic communication and courtesy still matter. Unfortunately, this was our first visit and it left us with no desire to return

I placed an order for a pint of ice cream and a pack of six cookies for delivery. I shortly after got a call from Insomnia stating they were out of the ice cream I had chose. I was told they simply canceled my order instead of asking me if I would like to choose another flavor. Now I am stuck with a pending charge on my card for almost $40 freaking dollars! Such poor customer service.

Fred is AWESOME! Our DD order wasn’t complete and we were told oh well. As a last chance effort I called the next day and he made it right. Super helpful and went above and beyond!

We went there after graduation, I asked if the snickerdoodle cookies had peanuts in them, they said no, but they use the same spatula to get all the cookies out. I think a simple clean spatula could’ve solved that issue but i guess not.
