We came here for Father's Day not really knowing what to expect. We were more than extremely impressed! The food is excellent and service too! We will be back!

Wow. So good. Food and drinks were great. It's also in a really fun area great for adults and families.

Tex Mex BBQ
I have felt for a long time that this area was missing kicked up or upscale Mexican Food.
Irene’s delivers just that. The menu has great variety. The items we ordered had a depth of flavor you don’t find in other Mexican Restaurant in this area. The flames from the wood fired grill add to those flavors and the experience. We will be back and highly recommend. Well done Irene’s!

If you're going with a group get the share plate, also highly recommend the seltzers (we thought the strawberry rhubarb was the best!)

We recently ordered a variety of items for takeout and had a mixed experience. The sweet potato chorizo was absolutely delicious—great flavor and texture. However, the pulled pork BBQ platter was disappointing. It was quite fatty and served in large chunks rather than the shredded “pulled pork” we expected. The Dip Trio met expectations, and my son really enjoyed the chicken tenders.

Great communication throughout the event and great food. Perfect for the venue and event.

Delicious food, friendly employees, an all-around win in my opinion! Can't wait to go back and try more things!

My wife, MIL and I went today. While food did not meet my expectations, what they did have was ok. Being from Texas we are fans of BBQ. This isn’t BBQ. It is smoked meat, but IMO falls well short of being true BBQ. No ribs, no pulled pork, sausage, beef unless you want it on a sandwich and then choices are limited. I was looking for a 2-3 meat plate of brisket, pork, etc. Again. Food is not bad, just not for us.

Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible.

First time to Irene’s today, came in for lunch. I might have just found my new favorite spot in CoMo! The tri-tip sandwich was outstanding, with the perfect amount of chew in the bread and a delicious combination of chimichurri and lime crema. The barbacoa was tender and flavorful, and the flour tortillas were of a quality I haven’t had since the last time I was in Tucson. Look forward to my next visit to Irene’s!

Absolutely loved this place, the staff was excellent, the food was exceptional. They gave my wife and I a bunch of great suggestions on where to eat. Hopefully I find myself back in Columbia one day so I can eat here again.

The best mezcal selection in the whole state. Wonderful food and people, too. You must go here if you can, especially if you love agave or want to learn about it since the bartenders are very knowledgeable about their bar.

Irene's is our go to restaurant in Columbia since the literal day they opened. Between the staff and the food, and the extensive, creative drink menu, you won't have a better experience anywhere else in town. As a regular, you'll feel like part of the family. And if you're just visiting for the first time you're in for one of como's most unique dining experiences.

Very dry flavorless brisket. Pork was ok. Sweet potatoes were different and good. Had to pay extra for bbq sauce to moisten brisket, then almost ate it all before they brought it to us.

My family and I went to celebrate a birthday. As I've seen others comment, the ordering process requires you to go to the counter to order and pay. They also requested high tip percentages from the kiosk, before we even got any service. Food is delivered to your table, but you are self-serve for water, tea, and alcohol (which is from the bar only). When we needed assistance, it was difficult to get the attention of waitresses. My biggest complaint was when I asked if they would bring us plates for the birthday cake we brought. (Remember, this is an order at the front, half self-service restaurant.) I was told they have a cake cutting fee of $10. I can see that in full-service restaurants (but I've been to many who don't do it), but not in a place like this. I declined, and we took the cake home to eat. As for the food itself, most of our party seemed satisfied with their meal, although the sweet potatoes were not good with the lime sauce, and even if they say something isn't spicy, I think that just means it's on the lower end of the spice scale.
