Not a fan of the atmosphere. It was loud, crowded, with a canteen hall aesthetic. The food was tolerable and that's being generous. The flavor profiles are weird; it's not BBQ, it's not Mexican, it tasted like someone's take on Mexican food who has never had real Mexican food but wanted to make it, and who also happens to cook a lot of BBQ. Because they don't commit to either cuisine or frankly respect the cuisines it misses both.

Very good food and like the difference. The chicken thighs were very dry. The wait staff tries to be attentive but very busy and it is not an effective way. If you want dedicated service sit at the bar.
The food at Irene’s BBQ was excellent – really flavorful and well-prepared. One of our orders came out wrong, but the staff handled it quickly and remade it without any hassle. Great food and good service overall.

BBQ brisket was hot I won’t be going back almost a chemical burn supposed to be hot but this was too much . And I normally eat spicy food this was over the mark !

This is a one star because the food description is so off. This place is straight up a Mexican food profile type of place. Which is fine if that is what you want, To pretend it’s anything else is misleading and wasting people’s time. Which is what happened !
