DELICIOUS food!! Decent selection of food. A lot of sushi roll options. Full bar. wide variety of drinks. Good sized portions of food.
Dedicated gluten free menu. Good food comfortable booth. A small dining area with lots of seating available, but felt close to others except for the booths.
Be prepared to take a S L O W Boat to China, the service was incredibly slow. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT! Our reservation was at 6, its now 7:40+ and we have not received our main courses. What we’ve received has been delicious, and I am all about taking time to dine, but this is not acceptable. GO ELSEWHERE!!
2 hours and counting, no entree yet (we placed our orders 1 1/2 hours ago) So, at this point, regardless of how excellent the food is, or how nice the server is, I personally will not be back. Unacceptable, even in Columbia MO.
What a horrible experience, even once the food arrived. To top it off, YOU embarrassed my in-laws who were taking us out to celebrate my husband and his twin sister’s 50th Birthday. Unacceptable, even by Asian-American standards.
Never a bad experience!
I am not a fan of the miso here, and I always love miso. So I’m not sure what’s different but non the less, the menu is incredible. I haven’t had one App I disliked
Great place for any occasion.
Jina Yoo’s is the best Asian Bistro in Columbia, MO. The chef here takes classic sushi and puts a unique spin on it which turns into an extremely delicious new creation. About a couple dozen of options along with the simplistic classic styles and other different sushi choices. Then there’s another side to the menu with more entree options such as B.A.P.T. (Bad @$$ Pad Thai) is the best Pad Thai you will ever eat. Among other dishes that are equally amazing. Staff is mostly young; most are good employees but sometimes you’ll run into the typical downfalls for the generation they’re from. Nonetheless, the owner works probably every single night because no matter what day I go, she is always there busting her ass working. She’ll go around to each table and ask how they like their food. The owner has a lot of passion and you can experience it through her food, drinks and the fantastic dining experience that you’ll have here. There is a nice patio too.
Sushi was super good. Honestly some of the best I’ve had in Missouri. Took a bit to come. But worth the wait.
My family and I dined here last night, and the experience was absolutely wonderful! Several of us have food allergies, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. I emailed the restaurant the night before, and to my surprise, I received a prompt and thoughtful response with a list of safe menu options tailored to my dietary restrictions.
When we arrived, they noted our allergies and took extra precautions in the kitchen. They even served our meals first to avoid any risk of cross-contamination.
Beyond the exceptional care with our allergies, both the food and service were outstanding. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality—highly recommend!

The food is amazing but last time I was there the kitchen was devastatingly slow. The service is hit or miss depending on who you get. I honestly love their food but my last experience was so bad I haven’t wanted to go back, carry out might be your best bet.
I went to the restaurant for the first time tonight and I'm embarrassed. I can't believe I've been missing out for so long! The food was incredible. I love Pad Thai but usually can't eat it because it tends to cause medical issues since most restaurants make it too spicy, even at the weakest level (and with much begging). Theirs was absolutely perfect (though I'm sure they can make it spicy for those who aren't weaklings). I also had a mai tai and passionate shrimp and I can't wait to go back. don't be the fool I was. Go visit ASAP!

We had Newlywed roll, bibimbap, and some kind of fish risotto and they were all great! I highly recommend getting Gorilla in the Kitchen as a desert; such a unique, fun flavor!
It was so cool to talk to Jina as well. Thank you for your kindness and amazing food, Jina!

The atmosphere is nice but the sushi is awful. This is probably the worst sushi I have ever had. Rice was old, sushi tasted low grade. It’s a nice looking place but the food I wouldn’t ever want to try again.

The food is top notch in the city, the service is good, and it’s a delightful atmosphere.
Place is a touch pricey, but worth it.
Top 5 spot in the city.
