First off I will say, food was really tasty. Waitress was nice. However Im quite certain we weren't charged correctly for breakfast and it's a bit pricey for the portions even considering the quality. For instance I got the "country pile up" and ate it all in about 6-7 bites. That averages out to $1.50-2 a bite which feels extreme for a meal that is 65% potatoes and gravy.

I specifically asked for number 4 with WAFFLES and BACON, but when the waitress cane with the order it was pane cakes and sausage. The syrup wasn’t as sweet like it used to be and my family’s food was bland and not good either.

The food is OK, bland but warm. Pretty expensive for breakfast too. Coffee is lukewarm at best and the whole place was just cold. It's 20 degree outside and it wasn't comfortable enough inside to even take off my coat. The bathrooms could also be cleaned some. The waitress was super nice and polite though

Wonderful old cafe. A Columbia staple that everyone should try. Lots of yummy comfort food and great service. Waitress was kind and prompt and check out is easy. They let you pick where you want to sit and if you like coffee. They will keep your cup filled. No rush to leave and lots of art in the entry with a few other things to buy as quick purchases. Plates are large and hearty. Egg cheese and bacon sandwich was got and bacon crispy. They have fresh squeezed organice juice and both breakfast and dinner options. If you get a biscuit, it has a yummy crunchy bottom from going on the grill for a bit.

This is a remodeled Country Kitchen used by JJ's cafe now. The food, service, and cleanliness was good. Prices were reasonable, whatever that means. I would go back
I had an hour before an appointment and decided to eat something better than fast food. 10 minutes to place my order, 15 minutes to have to change order because they were out of 1 item and another 20 minutes to get food to the table. The meatloaf was burnt, very dry, and crispy on 2 sides, potatoes were cold, and a box verity. Needless to say, I will not go back and was late to my appointment.

My family and I went in on a Saturday. We waited about 10 minutes before being seated, and before we could sit at the clean available table they told us to wait for a different table to be cleaned, which took another 10 minutes. After we were finally seated we ordered DRINKS and waited 15 minutes for those. Drinks shouldn’t take that long ever. The food was okay. Burger was super greasy. Fries were good. Pancakes were good. So was the other breakfast items.

Just not very good food. The bacon is paper thin, floppy, and feels like it was microwaved. The hashbrowns definitely come out of a carton and don't see any heat other than the hot water they're rehydrated in. Waffle house has better breakfast than this place
