Lakota Coffee Company - South

I have future plans to travel to Missouri and my first place to visit will always be Lakota Coffee! Such a special coffee shop/business! Living in southern California offers beautiful ocean views but lacks the soul & people of a sweet coffee shop.

This is a great local coffee place. Glad I followed the reviews to this place. I had a large Mocha and biscuit breakfast sandwich for half the price of the same food that I had at ihop the day before. And the food and coffee were a million times better here.

The past two times I’ve come to this location they have gotten my order wrong. I’ve asked for matcha both times and it is very poor quality and they never get the flavoring correct unfortunately. I’ve never had this issue with the location downtown. I’ve ended up throwing my drinks away each time.

Great place to do group studying. Coffee is good but on the pricey side, especially for milk alternatives. It is fairly loud so if you want a quiet place to study I would recommend somewhere else.

Loud! If you’re looking for a quiet place to visit or study, this is not the place. The coffee is great, service is great… haven’t had food here, but it obnoxiously loud.

I went there to meet a job prospect at 6:30. Usually open until 9:00 or 10:00 (posted on door).
I suppose this might be because of school being out all week for Thanksgiving, but there was no signage.
Some places put up notices the week before if they're going to be closed.
I drove almost 4 miles for this meeting. Granted, not a huge distance, but totally wasted and during (the end of) "rush hour."

I prefer the downtown location for nostalgia reasons, however the Green Meadows spot is cozy, too.
