My son went into this establishment today to see if they would cash his check. The guy there, never looked at the check, he simply told my son No!

He's went in prior to today and was told no as well. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Am I to understand that because my son talks more in English than he does in Spanish, then the answer is no? Am I to understand that your establishment accepts payments from anyone, However, not just anyone can walk in and get their check cashed? Am I to understand that only pure Spanish speaking, pure Spanish looking people can cash their checks there and have full service?

Yes my son is Hispanic, the check he has is completely legitimate. But of course this establishment wouldn't know either way because he never looked at the check! If you would've looked at the check and refused to cash it, due to policies, then I wouldn't be leaving a poor review.

Call this a rant or whichever you wish but the picking & choosing as to who you serve, how you serve them, if you serve them at all or not, is noticeable!

Have I dined there, absolutely! Will I dine there again, absolutely not! Will I refer anyone? Absolutely not!

Came in a little before noon on a Monday. Got to choose our seats, chips and salsa were brought right out with waters.

Decided not to mess around, ordered the Tres Molcajete Especial and a large side of guacamole, to split between 2 of us. We were very well fed. Everything was excellent and the staff was super attentive and friendly.

Over priced crappy Mexican food served inside next to a small Mexican food grocery store. Very odd for sure. Service was terrible. Forgot to give use silverware before our food came out. Brought our food to the table without the flour tortillas....waited 5-10 minutes, just looking at our food with no way to eat it. Just horrible experience. Also, never asked to refill our sodas.

This place has some of the best Mexican food in Columbia. The staff is always friendly, the drinks are strong enough to know you have a drink and the food is always well seasoned and served hot. They have the best Mexican street corn I have had.
Downside:
1. the table area is kind of cramped and if you are in a wheelchair I think it would make things even harder on staff and other patrons getting the chair in if an edge table isn't open.
2. They don't post their hours on the front doors so if you eat later in the evening you might not be able to eat there.

Got four tacos and one burrito the burrito alone by itself was 17 dollers and the steak inside it wasnt even seasoned. I ended up giving the lady 100 dollers for my bill and some guy same back with my change but obviously doesnt know how to count they didnt give me my correct total back... I've been to alot of authentic restaurants and this is by far the worst one I've ever been to... I ordered two horchata's as well and they weren't even the authentic horchata.. they tasted like crap.. I expected better....

Ordered at the mexico mo location - the order was wrong , 20$ for just 3 tacos and rice. The rice was terrible. Highly disappointed.

Coming from Arizona, this was a different style of Mexican food than I’m used to. The atmosphere was great and the service was solid, but the food was just okay for me. It’s surprisingly tough to find a simple, satisfying bean and cheese burrito out here, and this one didn’t quite hit the mark. Might be more appealing if you’re into Tex-Mex or regional variations.

Still, I appreciated the clean space and quick seating. Worth a try if you’re in the area and looking for a new take on familiar dishes.

I have been here a few times and every time it was really good food. Usually I order fajitas (that was last time) this time it was a chimichanga. It was AMAZING !! The best part is their chips are not overly hard like most mexican restaurants and their salsa has more substance than most as well. I love that it is not as runny and had an amazing flavor!!! Probably my favorite in Columbia MO!!! ❤️This place!! Although they mistakenly put bell peppers in it. They remade it and had it back out to me really fast!!!

On Taco Tuesday, I ordered tacos al carbon for carry out. Food was ready fairly quickly. I had a 10 minute drive home, and the food was still fresh and warm. These tacos were amazing! They were perfectly seasoned and garnished with grilled onions, cilantro, and just a sprinkle of cheese. The meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and just perfect with the corn tortillas. Best tacos ever!
