So amazing! You can't go wrong with anything here, it's all delicious! I recommend getting a bag of their homemade chips to take home but they don't tend to last long in my house.

Everyone is friendly and the service was quick. I usually get the Brisket Burnt Ends basket. Today was no exception. Other than the meat being exceptionally fatty today everything was great!

Stopped in tonight, unfortunately it was 3 minutes until closing. It was probably a little annoying for the staff to take my order with so little time, but they took my order anyways. As always, their burnt brisket ends were delicious, making me very happy. I'll make sure to come in earlier next time! :)

As a woman, it is quite difficult to let a man know how much you love/admire them to be your spouse( crushing). I used to admire Mncube right from when I was 14 years. He was handsome, tall, social to people and came from a wealthy family. I got to know Mncube at school, he was our entertainment prefect and was admired by many of the girls. I feared to approach him because he was in a higher class and like I said, this is a very difficult situation for a girl.

On 7/29/2021 @ 518P I picked up a half slab of baby back ribs with vinegar coleslaw. As I took a bite of the vinegar coleslaw, I realized it smelled "off" and tasted funky so I did not eat it. I shared my experience via the contact link on the Lutz's website: 7/29/2021 @ 518P; $21.66 for half slab baby back ribs with two sides of vinegar slaw and it was sour. Could not eat it. May I please have a coupon for two sides of vinegar slaw? Thank you. On 8/12 I spoke to Mackenzie and she denied my request for a vinegar coleslaw coupon because I did not call the day of or day after to report the problem. She said no one else had complained about the coleslaw so there was nothing they could do. When I asked her to reconsider, she said "this is what I've been told to do". This was the second time my meal was ruined because of a problem with the vinegar coleslaw. The first time, in April, I ordered vinegar coleslaw but received creamy. When I called to report the mistake, I was asked to return to the restaurant for vinegar slaw. When I chose not to drive back to the restaurant, they made the mistake right by offering free vinegar coleslaw with my next order.
This is my go-to in Columbia. Excellent Ribs, Burnt Ends, Sauces. Fries, Beans, and their signature chips are great too. I'm guessing there isn't a bad thing on the menu, but I always order some combination of the above. I eat BBQ all over the country, and believe that once you get to a certain level, the "best" is just a matter of personal preference. Lutz's is absolutely in that top tier of quality and in my opinion, has to be one of the best kept secrets in the country!
