I recently visited McGinty's in Columbia and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The bartender on duty was extremely rude and displayed unacceptable behavior towards customers. Not only was he loud and aggressive, but he also made racially insensitive remarks. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable and has no place in any establishment. I urge the management of McGinty's to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure that all customers are treated with respect and dignity.

Who doesn't love the best dive in town?! I almost didn't write this review so it wouldn't go out there on the interwebs, but this is my favorite dive in Columbia.
And yes, I said dive. The beer list is handwritten on a whiteboard ffs. If you play the wrong song on the jukebox it'll get skipped (Tennessee Whiskey, amirite?!). And the staff are usually equal parts sunshine and grumpy.
No one knows why it works but it does.

Great atmosphere and place to hang out. The karaoke night is bangin if you're into that. Also they can really turn up the jukebox if you want, so you can enjoy your own musicThey have a nice selection of liquor, it looks like a neighborhood bar but they have some great top shelf you've never tried.
