Their salsa is homemade and tastes great. The chips were also fresh and very good. The burrito was huge and the fries were really good. Great tasting Mexican food. All the food we ordered was excellent. It's a small restaurant, no atmosphere, but great food! It is downtown and parking can be difficult.
This is one of my top favorite places for authentic Mexican food! The tortillas are made fresh to order, the street tacos are to die for and the salsa is out of this world! Tiny little hole in the wall but so worth the stop. I live an hour and a half away and can’t ever wait to go back for their delicious food and kind employees!
The food is awesome, has been for years. Everytime I visit there are 3 women working hard to prepare all of the food from scratch. Everything tastes better here. The complimentary chips are hot and crispy. The salsa is unique and has great flavor. I detect a touch of cloves. Even the rice.. perfectly seasoned and flavorful.
Anyways, everything always tastes super fresh. But the empandas are absolutely epic. THE CHEESE EMPANADAS. Definitely one of the best dishes in town....
