My only complaint is the last 6 times Ive wanted to go they have been closed. Kind of odd for a bakery and a college town. I either want pie in the morning, dessert night or weekends. End up getting cheaper pie at the store :(
I visit often over lunch on Wednesday to get a treat for my wife. Peggy Jean is usually there. Every pie I've tried has been great, and Peggy is just a sweet woman. She has day-old pies half off, but the fresh ones are reasonably priced too.
I was in Columbia recently for my mom's business trip in Columbia and I stopped by Peggy Jean's Pies! OMG I walked in and it was like heaven on earth! The aroma of the pies and the atmosphere was amazing! I felt welcomed and the nice lady at the counter was very helpful/pleasant!
