I’ve eaten their pies for years and always been pleased with their quality and the service of their staff. But I want to take a minute and thank them for their recent help. My mom had just received a diagnosis that gave her new dietary restrictions. I called and asked what things I could order given those restrictions and they found us a delicious lemon pie. My only complaint is the last 6 times Ive wanted to go they have been closed. Kind of odd for a bakery and a college town. I either want pie in the morning, dessert night or weekends. End up getting cheaper pie at the store :(
I visit often over lunch on Wednesday to get a treat for my wife. Peggy Jean is usually there. Every pie I've tried has been great, and Peggy is just a sweet woman. She has day-old pies half off, but the fresh ones are reasonably priced too.
