I have been coming to this Scooter’s location for quite some time and have usually had very positive experiences, especially with the women who work the afternoon shifts. They are consistently kind, patient, and professional. That is why this visit was not just disappointing, but truly upsetting.
While I was waiting at the pickup window for my drink, the window was slightly cracked open. The young woman at the register was assisting another customer, and a tall, very thin male employee with dark hair was in the back speaking loudly about my order. He is someone I have seen working there regularly for quite a while, so this was not a new employee unfamiliar with expectations. It was clear he did not think I could hear him.
As he commented on my drink choice, he mockingly referred to me as a “fattie.” I cannot adequately describe how humiliating that felt. At 58 years old, I never imagined I would be standing at a drive-through window being openly ridiculed about my weight by an employee of a business I have supported for years. It was cruel, immature, and completely unacceptable.
I left feeling embarrassed, hurt, and honestly shaken. No customer should ever be spoken about in that manner, regardless of what they order. I have always enjoyed coming here, but this experience has seriously made me reconsider returning. I sincerely hope this is taken seriously and addressed appropriately, because no one deserves to feel that way over something as simple as ordering a drink.
I do want to say that this behavior does not reflect the rest of your staff. The other employees I have interacted with over the years have been absolutely lovely, warm, and respectful. That is the standard I have come to expect, which makes this incident all the more disappointing.

The service was good and my drink was hot, but my drink tasted awful. Don't normally go to this scooters cause I am not from here, but I would expect my drink to taste almost similar to the one I get from other scooters. My chai latte was very watered down and not pleasing to drink.

Came thru at 7:30 am on a Monday & Tuesday and within 3 minutes both days I ordered and drove away with 2 lattes! Not bad 🤙

Phenomenal service, staff is always kind and efficient. Food and drinks are always correct and tasty. Went through the drive-thru this morning and it took less than 4 minutes (closer to 2-3) to drive in, order, pay, get my coffee drink and burrito, and be on my way during the Monday morning rush to work.

I recently tried Scooter's Coffee for the first time, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! With Starbucks under construction, I was in need of a local frappe fix and stumbled upon Scooter's Coffee on Google. I decided to give it a shot, and I'm so glad I did. Their frappees are fantastic! In fact, I found myself enjoying their drinks even more than the Starbucks frappees. I'll definitely be returning in the future for more of their delicious offerings.
