We arrived for lunch around 12:15pm today, and were seated right away. Our server took our order 10 minutes later and got us drinks. She apologized for any delay, as they had a large group of people. Our food arrived to our table cold 45 minutes later, and others who had come to the restaurant after us had already received their meals. We went back our french fries and chili cheese fries because they were completely cold, and we got “new” food about 10 minutes later, still barely room temperature. I do not believe we will be back.

Hadn’t eaten at a Steak n Shake in years because most of them are out of business in STL where I reside. After eating here at night because not much else was open, I see why. Menu has shrunk entirely, not much to choose from it’s basically In N Out Burger. Picked an option that looked the most appealing. While waiting they took an order of spaghetti out to someone which was not on our menu. I’d have much rather had that. Just sums up my typical Steak N Shake experience, at least this location refills drinks though. Most times I have to go fetch my own.

Went there today and we set for like 10 mins and no one was asking us what we want but they serve 4 other tables that they got there after we did one waitress looks at us more then 5 times and still didn't ask us nothing and we just got up and walk out

If you aren’t the type of person they like, they will discriminate against you. They will refuse to take your order and serve the people who arrive after you until you eventually leave without any food. This should and is illegal, but they don’t care. Do not ever visit!

Food was delicious, the staff was rarely seen..had to go to the counter to ask for a go box.Updated 5/26/22 I took a group here for lunch today, Tyrone seated us ,Tyrone didn't seem terrible happy to have a job or be dealing with people, He was mumbling under his breath and never even acknowledged us properly, tossed the menus on the table and walked off, came back a short while later, was unfamiliar with the new tiny menu, my coworker asked what sugar free drinks they had and he sharply stated"well what do you want?" And never did tell her what they had. I asked for unsweetened tea, he brought me sweet tea that I can't have, when he finally returned I asked for the unsweetened tea, he became annoyed, took our order(still hasn't even smiled) and went back to his station, 10 minutes later I still had not received my drink, my Co worker went to the front counter and asked a nice guy named Marcjs if I could have the unsweetened tea and if he could be our waiter, because we did not want Tyrone back at our table..Marcus came and brought my tea, and then checked the order that Tyrone had taken it was wrong , there were 4 of us and he had food for 5 people, he had added an extra burger and two extra fries, Marcus corrected the order, we received our food in a timely manner, Marcus was wonderful and very friendly and made what was left of our visit much more enjoyable!! Marcus saved the day!! He deserves a raise!
