Been going there since the 1990s, the place has gone down hill precipitously. The restaurant wasn't clean, the sandwiches were mostly bread and very little meat and toppings, the service was subpar while were the only ones in the restaurant. We will not be going back and it is unfortunate because the place used to be great.

I used to love Sub Shop. However, it's been several years since I've been into the downtown location. Today, I placed an online order and arrived at the estimated ready time. I stood in a line of 3 or 4 people who were placing orders at the counter. I got to the counter and was told my sandwiches were still being prepared. 25 minutes later, AND after several people who placed their order after me had already been served I approached the counter an was told my sandwiches were almost ready. 5 minutes later my name was called. With my lunch break pretty much over I left and rushed back to work. First off, my clothes smelled like grease just from standing in this place. Secondly, my sandwich was cold and had so much mayonaise slathered on that it was piling out the sides and dripping all over the place. Terrible experience!!!

Tenable nothing but lettuce and mayonnaise service slow and unorganized. Ordered BLT and Turkey club worst sandwiches I've ever gotten there. Been a customer since early 80s last one for us not worth eating put in the trash.

I have loved Sub Shop since I was a Mizzou student 1989-1993 when they had a store on campus. I have continued to be a raving fan. But today.....I was disappointed. The delivery driver (possibly outsourced) did not follow the instructions for delivery, causing the food to sit unattended and unknown for almost an hour. You must have a different tomato soup recipe. It looked like pizza sauce (cold due to sitting so long), the cheese was clearly never in any kind of melted state. My tuna salad sandwich, which I ordered with double american cheese, had no cheese. The tuna salad was beyond fishy and the tomatoes were in an advanced stage of yuck. Of course after sitting that long, the sandwich bread was total mush. So, after waiting 1.5-2 hours for the delivery from just down the street, I had to throw most of it away as is was inedible. I hope you know that I still want to love your business and want to enjoy it in the future. Please take my experience to heart. A long-haul, loyal fan.

Every single time I've driven into or near Columbia, MO, for the last 25 + years, I've stopped for a Veggie Sub!!! Every single time I love it and I'm glad I ordered it. When I went the first time I had hardly ever eaten a vegetable... still not my first choice other places, but omg!!! Delicious!!!

Too pricey 20$ for a footlong not including chips or drinks with it but the sandwiches are good not the best I've had

Order a feet long sub and they gave me 2quarter sub that pretty much equal to a half I suppose to get 4 quarters sub that would be a foot long I spent 20 dollars and know that not how much cost I not never going to the downtown location again they are always messing up my order. They don't know what a feet long sub is.

Sandwich average but the fact that a $18 for a 12 inch sun with literally ham & cheese. No additional veggies. If added $2 a vegetable. Lettuce, $2, tomato $2 etc. how can anyone eat there? Unless the young woman didn’t understand her own menu? Jimmy John or Subway far better. Prices are CRAZY!

We ordered 3 kids sandwiches (2 bologna and a pb&j) and a half blt and meatball. The sandwiches left little to be desired and the service was worst. Really bad attitudes and it took 45mins when there were no customers.

I'm very disappointed with this particular store First of all the guy taking my order had to ask me how to spell Charles three times and the same for my address I had delivery and ordered the $12 ham and cheese sub he never said what comes on the sandwich so 2 minutes later I called back and he said that I was to late to add anything so I requested for it to come on the side and I added a brownie plus told him to give the driver the remaining from a payment of $20 when I received my delivery the sandwich had very minimum meat no side condiments and brownie was stale I will never recommend this particular establishment to anyone it's Terrible
