We had a reservation for dinner. Booked weeks ago. When we reached here they denied seating us as they had no tables.
If I could rates it 4.5 stars, I would. Ok thought the atmosphere and service were good. It's a small, cozy restaurant, which I liked. The food was okay, but not outstanding. All in all, though, it's worth a try.

Beautiful place! Food was delicious! The serving sizes were not super big and don’t come with any sides unless you order them.

The Sycamore Restaurant has a lot to offer for anyone seeking a classy, vintage speakeasy vibe. From the moment you walk in, the warm lighting, rich wood accents, and mellow background music set the perfect mood. It’s the kind of place that feels both timeless and welcoming — ideal for date nights, group gatherings, or just enjoying a well-crafted cocktail after work.
The menu isn’t overly large, but every item feels thoughtfully chosen and executed with care. Each dish we tried had a great balance of flavor, presentation, and quality — you can tell the chefs prioritize fresh ingredients and creativity over quantity. Whether it’s their perfectly cooked entrees, unique appetizers, or a carefully mixed drink from the bar, everything feels elevated yet approachable.
Even though our party was quite large, the staff handled everything smoothly. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and our meals came out promptly and beautifully plated.
Overall, The Sycamore delivers a memorable dining experience that combines vintage charm, excellent service, and consistently high-quality food. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a sophisticated night out with a relaxed, classic atmosphere.

The duck breast was seared beautifully, tender inside with a rich, savory depth, while the seasonal vegetables added brightness. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the relaxed, stylish space gave dinner a calm, polished rhythm.

Very nice place to stop in and have lunch before we visited the book loft. It was a delicious lunch and quickly served. The atmosphere was relaxed and not rushed. I would recommend the Cuban sandwich and the blueberry lemonade !

If you are coming here for a cheap meal you wont find it here. If you want to have excellent food in a nice environment for a good date then you will not be dissapointed. I ordered the steak and it did cost me a little bit, but for the flavor that came with my meal, it was absolutely worth every penny. My wife had some pasta dish.... I tried some and it was delicious.
This is definitely on my list of date night restaraunts.

I was sat at the bar, alone. I enjoyed a Malbec. Employees voluntarily sat at the bar, expressing their stress. Why was this okay to do with me? Would you do it to a white middle aged man and his wife? This was unprofessional. As a Black professional, I expressed that severity of wasting $50 on lunch hearing the internal matters of the restaurant.
The owner replied to my review saying the bartender claimed I was rude. I just left the restaurant and apologized. Where is the accountability for Sycamore's lackluster service? I complained and she is allowed to be a victim of my very complaint. This is racism and microaggression by definition. The black person complains and the white person takes on fear. The manager defends the lackluster bartenders and coworkers. The bartender took the position of a white helpless victim rather than taking accountability for terrible service. I am coming back to eat and I demand top tier service. We can protest as a next resort.
Went for a dinner meeting on a Monday. It was loud from conversations, so not the best choice for quiet conversation. Had the Salmon salad and lamb kabob. Lamb cooked well but underseasoned to my pallet. Smoked salmon salad was nicely not overdressed, and I would get it again. Service was maybe a little slow. Cheesecake desert was good and recommendable.
Great food and drinks! Definitely worth a visit
