I ordered 2 curries, red and green along with Pad Thai. The rice the restaurant sent was barely 2 tablespoons not the one cup measure that is served in the restaurant with a curry order. The rice was not enough for even 1 person. I had to cook rice before we could eat and then the food got cold. Disaster all through.
Food was great service not so much
This restaurant doesn't exist or the location listed on Google is not up to date. I tried both the downtown and southside location. Downtown had a for rent sign in the window and the southside....didn't exist. I've heard nothing but great things about the food. I really wanted to try it. WHY CAN'T I FIND THIS PLACE??? THEY NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE EITHER. Hopefully they didn't shut down.
I have only ordered a couple of things there. The taste is good. I'd say it is definitely better than other Thai restaurants in town. They can improve by giving more portion for the price. I like noodles in general and their "Noodle Trio" is a good choice if you like to try different flavor of noodle dishes. I believe they have some really good entrees but it probably takes a few visits to find out what they are really good at. Store on the southside can use better ventilation because the kitchen is too close to the dining area. The chef is from Thailand so he knows how to cook authentic Thai food. I will give them high rating in the food quality and taste. The food portion/price, sitting area are what they can improve.
Very busy on Fridays but they are impressive for only having one chef and one very competent waitress. Always a delicious, fresh meal. The rice soup, the egg rolls, and the double noodles are all great.
Every time I've come here the service has been slow. I just waited 45 minutes for a check to be brought to me only to have the waitress tell me she can't split it up because she doesn't know how. The food is good but not good enough to offset the por service. I don't think I'll be back.
Edamame and beef pho.....perfect lunch or dinner combo!
My daughter and I were huge fans of the Thai place previously in this location so we figured we try this place. The decor got an upgrade and everything is a tad more fancy but the food was just eh.
We always love our experiences at Tip Thai!! We're trying everything and nothing has disappointed. I always get the BBQ/wonton soup, it's lights out!
Very good food, great staff!

What a mess. The BBQ egg roll appetizer was literally 2 egg rolls cut in half to be served attractively, and they were not special in any way. The papaya salad was great, but only had 2 shrimp in it. I ordered the panang with chicken, but they brought me pat thai. My wife ordered the double noodle, which was inedibly sweet and soaked in so much sauce that she needed a spoon to attempt to eat it. My dish was terribly sweet as well. We had heard good things about this place, but left very dissatisfied.
Relaxed yet classy Thai place next to a dry cleaner's, Thip Thai has an eclectic menu and a distinctively Thai drink menu. Try the sake
Ordered via grub hub. Asked for double vegetables in the Double noodle dish. It came with no vegetables except raw red onion slices on top and a couple mustard greens and bean sprouts that i found with much digging. When i called, Ryan informed me that those are the veggies that come with the Double noodle dish and that if i wanted more or different veggies then i should have picked the "extra protein" option. I was unaware that veggies were now a protein... guess i'll mark that down for the next time i order thip thai, which will be never.
Came for lunch and had the masaman curry, it's was hearty and delicious with plenty of spice.
Delicious Thai noodle dishes! Favorites include double noodle and spicy beef noodle
