Love this place. Talk about comfort food and eating! I dont think I've ever gave a straight 5 stars across the board before. This place is worth you time and money. For a cheese burger combo ( which the burger is huge and tons of fries) is around $13. My favorite is definitely the chocolate shakes with the cool whip on top! Enjoy!!

I got an Italian beef, fries, and a drink. Overall the food was good, only thing that didn’t sit well was the size of the sandwich itself. I’m not from Chicago but I’ve had an Italian beef from there and compared to a traditional Italian beef the size is dramatically different.

The picture below is how an Italian beef should look and what I was expecting especially after seeing the photos.

**The picture below is NOT I say again is NOT what I received**

The beef patties in his cheeseburger tasted fresh and high-quality. The hamburger was also quite large. I definitely recommend it.

Worst Burger in Columbia. No seasoning. Best served after bar... Maybe.

Originally from the Chicagoland area, moved to Columbia approximately 6 years ago to study at the University of Missouri. While I absolutely enjoyed my time here, one aspect of Columbia had lacked for me was the food. I wanted something that reminded me of home and that didn’t also break the bank.A few locations here and there have come and gone that offered an alternative to the “Taste of Chicago”.This location is a without a doubt the closest it has gotten for me to not drive 4-6 hours to find a good Italian Beef. (Portillo’s is approximately 3.5 hours away, I’ve checked haha)FOOD:Some of this may come down to personal preference but I still would like to give my thoughts.I got the Italian Beef meal, 6PC wing combo tossed in Sweet Baby BBQ sauce. The Italian Beef was pretty good! The bread was soft especially after it being dipped. It comes with cheese and hot giardiniera. A little salty, either from the cheese or the giardiniera, but the saltiness overwhelmed the flavor of the beef. Speaking of taste, the flavor of the au jus could ask for more. It was solid, but definitely could be better.I absolutely love french fries and I 100%, wholeheartedly will stop frequenting a restaurant based on their fries. The fries here? Yes. Yessir. Great shape and they give you a “healthy” amount for the price. I don’t know about individually, but was great for the price of the meal. Again, something of acquired taste but they were also a bit salty, but the seasoning on it was great overall.Fairly new location as I’m writing this, but pleasantly surprised with the clean presentation with a hint of a “whole in the wall” vibe.Service was also exceptional and quick when it came to receiving my food, but I also picked up mine while no one was there. Your experience may vary depending on the time of your visit.I will definitely be coming back and absolutely recommend not just Chicagoland residents but also the residents and visitors of Columbia, MO.

Went in here not even knowing this place had opened. I got an Italian beef and man, was this an amazing experience. It was dipped and had spicy peppers I couldn't ask for a more perfect Italian beef.Later my wife and I were walking back to our car and she wanted to try the place and got a double cheeseburger with fries. This was a nice sized burger and the fries are super well seasoned. We will definitely be back and everyone should try. It's cheaper than 5 guys and probably better.

Ordered the #8 italian beef meal and am genuinely suprised by the quality. Bread was high quality, meat wasn’t overcooked and peppers had a good level of spice, no sauce needed. Fries were super tasty with proper seasoning. Store was clean, and service was fast and very pleasant. Will definitely be back!!!

This place was so good. I took a bite of my burger and I literally said “am I just hungry or is this so good??” And then I ate my burger. Then I tried my friend’s Philly cheesesteak and I knew. It really was just that good. Highly recommend
