Great experience every time! The staff here are always upbeat and quick with orders, even when it’s busy. My smoothie came out fresh, cold, and exactly how I ordered it. The food is just as good — clean, flavorful, and made fast. The place is always tidy and has a relaxed vibe, perfect for a quick lunch or post-workout stop. Definitely one of my favorite Tropical Smoothie Café locations in Columbia!

They NEVER bring my order out when I order curbside. If theyre not going to do that, they should at least stop offering it as an option.

they put bacon in my non bacon sandwich. i ordered the chicken pesto flatbread. i do not eat pork as it is against my religion. this is very upsetting for me as i haven’t eaten pork in years, and it should have never been in my sandwich to begin with. i came in May 23rd at 1:50pm

Ignored me and another girl standing in line for ten minutes. Talked shit to each other while making the drinks loud enough I could hear. Took literally forever for me to get my drinks. Don’t waste your time

On Saturday March 15th me and my girlfriend ordered food and a smoothie. I ordered the chipotle chicken club flatbread and she ordered the Santa Fe quesadilla. I was incredibly disappointed when I took my first bite of the flatbread and taste cold chicken, I thought maybe it was just this section of the flatbread but I found out that all the chicken was ice cold and left me wondering if it was unsafe to eat. My girlfriend who works at a different location says that the chicken shouldn’t be cold when it comes out of the oven on a flatbread and most likely the chicken wasn’t thawed properly until it went in the oven. On a positive note the smoothies we ordered were delicious.

Food is fine but the service is terrible. The only good employee left so there’s not much reason to go back. Waited for 30 minutes for my food after they gave it to the wrong person.

I’m not ever one to leave reviews, but I had 2 bad experiences at this store within the past week and wanted the public to beware of this location. 3 nights ago, I stopped in after I got off a night shift at my job. I walked in at 8:48, didn’t get my order taken until 8:49, and when I tried to place a food order, the girl told me they can’t serve food 10 minutes before close. Totally no big deal. I didn’t realize they were closing and understand that workers don’t appreciate when customers come in that close to closing time. I told her thank you and didn’t get anything during that visit. I came in 2 nights later also after a night shift, and walked in at 8:43 this time. I recognized one of the workers was the girl that told me they couldn’t take my food order the other night, but she wasn’t the one who took my order. After I placed my order with a different worker, I sat down while they made my food and smoothie. I was also the only customer in the store. Right when I sat down, I heard the girl that I recognized from the other night go up to the girl that had just taken my order. She said something along the lines of, “that girl tried to come in the other night 4 minutes before we closed” in a snobby tone. I immediately felt judged and uncomfortable that these 2 workers were talking badly about me while I’m sitting a good 15 feet away from them. I’m not sure what else was said about me while they were making my food, but I had to uncomfortably sit at that table for 5 minutes while these girls were talking about me. So inappropriate and unprofessional. I could see them constantly looking back and forth from me to each other. I also was having a very stressful night before this, and I walked out of the store that night with tears in my eyes from how uncomfortable I was listening to these workers talk about me. After looking at previous reviews of this location, it doesn’t seem like this is the first time customers have been treated with attitude from the workers. If you are wanting to visit a Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Columbia, I would highly recommend visiting the location on the other side of town. The workers are much nicer there. :)

I ordered 2 smoothies and it took 20 minutes. They had no other orders they were getting out. The 2 girls working were pretty rude and when I finally got my drinks, the cups were covered in food ingredients.
