Truman's Bar & Grill

Typical bar food, got pizza and boneless wings, both were just 'ok', service was ok once I stopped a server and asked them for help - granted, it was busy and packed full. Atmosphere is super awesome, liked all the screens. I don't have a favorite pizza in columbia yet. My fav boneless wings are Buffalo wild wings - but have more to try. Curious about wings stop. If they have boneless, maybe I'll try theirs next? I will go back, and I'll try something different- and hopefully it won't be so busy and I can adjust my review.

I apologize, but their servers are so ignorant of their whiskeys (even though the money is set up to push whiskeys) that they can’t answer any questions and then end up up charging you for stuff you didn’t order. This has happened to me twice now.

We went there on Thanksgiving of all days! We both had a thanksgiving meal that was outta this world! We had been in Columbia all of a day and a half, no way how shape or form of having a Thanksgiving dinner....Thanks to all at Truman's Bar & Grill for being open that day and the warm welcome to Columbia!

This is very much not family friendly, very overpriced, and very rude staff work here. We came here as a family of three, two adults and a two year old, the whole place smelled like Marijuana. We ordered four drinks which were two cream sodas and two waters. We never got the waters and we were here for over an hour. We were never asked if we wanted to refill our drinks, we were barely ever saw our waitress and 30 minutes after ordering our food we decided to leave. They decided that was the perfect time to come and tell us to pay for the two cream sodas, even though we had been waiting 10 to 15 minutes for somebody to even come, give us our refills or our check or anything and nobody did. They also wanted us to pay for the food, They haven’t even started cooking yet which was not happening. Should never take over an hour for drinks let alone food. Should not allow kids when you allow people to smoke inside. Was $15 for the two cream sodas. Would have been over $100 for food if we stayed, for two people and a two year old. Our waitress was very rude and not personable. Would not recommend, will never come back.
And after reading other reviews, we made a great choice leaving.

Can't believe 2 shots of jamo are $22....didn't ask for a dbl ras/ sugar free red bull for $16..only asked for a ras/sugar free drink..knowing id pay for the redbull..I get that..$35 later one round, no one checked on us at the golden tee table like the bartender said shed send someone over after we paid her...we kept trying to catch a server no go.....service on a SLOW night is worse than busy? Been coming here for 20 years..not anymore..btw..went to murrays after...tab was $55...2 glases of wine, 3 fingers of jamo for my hubby, Seared tuna, Philly steak, Murry fries with brie...great service...

I want to say thank you to the staff! Ordered a to-go order for a meeting. It was a large order and once it arrived I noticed that 2 meals were not delivered. Called Truman's and they offered to remake the meals for pick up. That to me, resolved the situation but then to top it off they issued a credit! I was not expecting this nor was it asked for. We understand mistakes happen. Thank you Truman's for your excellent customer service!

They literally over charge and lie to their customers 🙄 The waitress was coached by the manager to tell me I had an old menu. My Fiance's menu priced food the same as mine and I even checked on-line. They literally lied to my face😔 If you are going to over price your food, at least be honest about it.

We had fast and friendly service. I got the truckers special and my wife got a half omelet. Our coffee was never empty and our food was hot and delicious.

Had the chicken quesadilla. The veggies where raw and under cooked. My wife's tenderloin was cold when is came out. Ice tea was some of the best but the waitress took are order brought out the food and never checked on us again and we had to flag her done to get the check so we could leave.

The most disappointing thing about the visit was the fact that it was falsely advertised as a handicap accessible restaurant when it’s not. Yes the building is handicap accessible, but your restaurant is not. Also, there were two female servers on duty who watched me and my sister, who is in a wheelchair walk around looking for a table. They didn’t know what to say to us. They said nothing at all not even hello. Good afternoon nothing they watched us come in and they watched us go out.😔😢. Everyone will think that this is a petty thing to review about. But until you have a family member or a friend or someone you, love is unable to sit and enjoy a meal like everyone else. Simply because the height of a table. Or making sure ramps aren’t blocked by patio furniture. It’s her favorite restaurant and she can’t even eat there. It’s heartbreaking Before her stroke. She went all the time.

Wheelchair accessibility: we visited the restaurant one afternoon for lunch. When we arrived. huge wooden picnic tables blocking the handicap ramp we had to go around. entering the restaurant all of the tables were bar tables. They had one table that was on the floor that a wheelchair set. All of the other tables were upstairs and they were bar tables as well.
