I absolutely love everything about this place. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff always makes you feel right at home. Most importantly, the food is hands down some of the best in town. Every dish I’ve tried has been flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. What sets this restaurant apart even more is that the quality doesn’t come with a high price tag—everything is incredibly affordable. It’s rare to find a spot where you get both top-notch food and great value. Highly recommend!

I stopped by to sit on the back patio with my clearly identified service dog, who was wearing a vest indicating they are a trained service animal from Mizzou.
The moment I walked in, I was met with a sharp and unfriendly “NO DOGS ALLOWED,” without any attempt to first ask whether my dog was a service animal. When I calmly pointed out that this is a trained service dog, the staff simply scoffed and offered no further response.
As a veteran with PTSD, this kind of reaction is not only upsetting, it’s also inappropriate and out of line with ADA guidelines.
Businesses must ask the appropriate questions rather than immediately confronting or dismissing someone with a service dog.
I hope this serves as a reminder to train staff on how to respectfully and legally interact with individuals who rely on service animals.
