Everything. 10/10 do recommend. I’m not from the area and I have little knowledge of soul food; but my man wanted authentic and this place was the one recommended to me. Huge stamp of approval. He barely talked while eating (and trust me, that’s saying something LOL)The Mac n cheese was definitely a favorite alongside the catfish. Can’t wait to try more of the menu!
I was excited when the food came out looking hot and fresh. It made the somewhat long wait time excusable. However, my first bite of food was full of an extremely salty seasoning. When you look closely at the food you can see white salt-like particles everywhere. Obviously seasoning makes food tasty, but it was overly done. I might give this place another chance since they sell an uncommon meat, gator.
Definitely an upgrade, from your normal mall food! This po-boy was great! Hand battered shrimp, fresh tomatoes, & lettuce! Get the hot sauce! The staff was really nice, & the fries were great! It's definitely a place that should be packed!
